HOW TO MAKE RESIN ALPHABET LETTER KEYCHAINS?
Hello, Everyone!! Here's another video of Epoxy Resin craft project, where I am casting resin in Alphabet letter molds and turning them into keychains. Simple, fun and easy to do resin craft idea for beginners.
In the video, I have used craft glitters and Mod podge glue to stick those glitters.
Please follow necessary SAFETY MEASURES while working with resin. Work in WELL-VENTILATED or OPEN areas. Don't forget to wear GLOVES and GAS MASK!!

How to protect back side while pouring top coat ?

I usually don't do anything to protect the back side. But if I have to I'll coat the back with a glue that can be peeled off easily later like mod podge. Many use liquid latex I think. Also maybe try covering the sides and back with painters tape. I recently used tape to protect the back of one of the projects I did. Good luck!

Why use mod podge instead of resin ? Just curious if it was easier to use with the tape and border ? Or different reason. I haven’t used my modpodge since I started resin crafting, still learning different techniques

Mod podge dries faster and you have more control over it than resin. Here, I find it much easier to use mod podge. With resin, I am not sure if the tape can be easily removed either and it will be messy. I used tape for sharper border and also with tape you can freely apply the glue and pour the glitter.

Can you also use uv resin to dome beside the podge

Yes, you can use UV resin to dome the pieces. I have used mod podge to glue the glitters only. You can use UV resin for this as well but the process will be a bit different.😊

Hi. Thank you. But when you say, "doming with resin". Do you mean a combination of the two, both resin and hardener or just using the resin only to dome?

Hello! Doming is also with the combination of both resin and hardener. With epoxy resin, it is always the combination of both, otherwise it will not harden. It is different with UV resin though where you don't need to do any mixing for it to harden.

From where u did buy deco page glue ? Can we use u v resin in it's replacement?

I got the glue from a local stationery shop. You can get it online as well from amazon. If you are using UV resin, this process will not work. You'll have to mix the glitter in the UV resin, apply it on the letters and cure them before doming.

WoW ! Quick & easiest trick. Beautiful alphabet pieces ❣️ I had watched another artist creating those glitter lines by embossing method instead modpodge glue which is economical. BTW, can I tag you in my Insta page creating a piece in this method ❓
