Welcome! In today's video you all get to meet my husband, Brett, as he keeps me company while making a few winter wreaths. He even tried his hand at making his own and did a great job. I love that he was willing to jump in and try it!
I wanted a wreath ready to replace my front door swag that has large red Christmas bows on it. I don't know about you all, but almost as soon as Christmas is over I start itching to take things down. All the specific decorations lose their luster and I'm eager to replace them with something fresh and neutral....hence this wreath.
We foraged in our backyard and came up with a nice assortment of Douglas fir, Blue Spruce, some Juniper, arborvitae, boxwood, etc. We cut the branches into smaller sprigs then had fun grouping them, varying the colors and texture of each little bundle before securing them to the wreath frame.
