Brenda - thank you so much. This was my solution to not being able to find realistic looking cupcake ornaments for our tree. Thank you for checking out our video! 🥰
I just stumbled across your video searching for ideas for my own candy land theme Christmas decor even though Christmas just passed. I love it! They're simple and easy! The gumdrops were my favorite! I can't wait to try them!
Ah thanks for watching and leaving me a comment! I love the candy land theme...it is so different and whimsical. I just add to my candy land decor every year! My kids love it and I love that our Christmas decor is different from everyone else’s! Good luck and sounds like you will be well prepared for decorating this year! 🥰
Ah thanks Troy! I can’t wait to see what you come up with and absolutely no judgment here...truth be told I have been gathering Halloween ideas because I am just so excited about it! I love that we both love holidays!
I hope they turn out amazing! I reuse mine every year - sometimes they just need to be fluffed out but they last so long! I’ve also used the stuffing they sell around Christmas for fake snow and that works just as well, if not better for the cotton candy. 😊
@@Hey_its_Dre our theme this yr at work is gingerbread, and what's gingerbread without all kinds of candy. I ran across your video and loved it. Can't wait to get started.
So cute and Unique, it's a joy to see you and your children' s work together . Lovely love ones thank you for sharing steps by step with fake cotton candy. I will try this soon.
What a lovely family and video. I love all the DIY’s and how you included your precious children. You’re doing so much for their confidence! The gingerbread was a great find. I love how you used the plate to make the curves in the peppermint! Your daughter is super talented!
We sure love candy! These candy ornaments are so creative! Not your typical Christmas ornaments. I love how you always come up with unique DIY ideas that your kids can participate in. They're going to look back on these videos one day and appreciate how much effort you put into making these memories for them. The peppermint lollipops are huge! Lol! Your cupcake ornaments look stunning! 🧁Those have got to be my favorite from this video. Good thing they're fake because they're too pretty to eat. Look at Azee piping the cupcake. She's a natural like her momma! I'm not that great at doing a swirl. One time I made a cupcake letterbox and ended up doing the "dotting" technique for almost all of them 😂 (not sure if that's what it's actually called)
Thank you and I hope my kids will look back and know how much they are loved! This year has been so hard and I am pulling every trick in the book to continue to make their childhood special. My favs are the cupcakes as well. Poor Greyson always gets excited thinking I made treats and instead finds fake sweets! He has tried more than once to taste them and thank goodness I always catch him before he puts it into his mouth!
OMG I'm in love with all those adorable ornaments they are so cute....Your kids are so sweet and cute may God bless you all. Thank you for your time and sharing you are AWESOME!!!
I absolutely love all of these! I don't know why but I just love fake candy and food and love how easy all these are. I will definitely be trying these with my daughter! Thank you so much for the amazing video.
Hayley...lol and I am the same with the fake desserts. I absolutely love them and have just figured it brings back fun childhood memories of playing house with pretend food. The funny thing is I am not much into baking or cooking and would rather make fake treats. 😂 Thank you so much for watching our video and I hope you do make some of these ornaments with your daughter - my kids had so much fun doing them. 💗
Lol...I have my poor 2 year old so confused. He always thinks we have desserts on hand and has even tried eating some of the fake treats (thank god I always catch him but I can’t blame him for wanting to try them..:they look real)! 😅
Omg these diy Christmas ornaments are so delicious looking! For a second I thought they are real cupcakes! 😂 great work for sure babe! I love them! ❤️❤️❤️
Adorable! We’ve made so many cupcakes and Starbucks (last week’s project). I found a great source for lightweight spackling on Amazon. It’s Red Devil Onetime. One gallon is approx $13!! We’re using the cupcakes to hold photos and gift cards!!!! Thanks so much Dre and kids❣️
Debi - not sure how I missed this message but I am definitely going to get some of that spackling - what a great deal! Also - you won our drawing from our gifts video for the Amazon giftcard. Please email me at itsasugarrush@gmail.com with your address so I can mail your gift out! Congratulations! 🥰
Big thumbs up, ..as instructed by your little helpers. 😉. Enjoyed the video , I’m a new subscriber and I plan to try some of your projects. Thank you for making the instructions so easy to follow.
Gloria - ah thank you so very much and my little helpers are definitely the stars of the show. I really appreciate you watching and thank you for saying hello! 🥰
Hey Dre omg! I absolutely love this! I have a Diy video coming up I’d love to include one of these 😻😍 you did so great! I love the candy floss Garland. Haha I love candy too! They are so cute and then you add glitter! WOW! I have to try these!
Jessica - ah thanks for the compliment! I can’t wait to check out your diy video! Lol During Christmas we just have glitter everywhere but the kids love it and let’s be honest - so do I! I think I have my 2 year old completely confused...he has tried multiple times taking bites out of our fake ornaments. 😂
@@Hey_its_Dre 😆😂omg that’s so cute! Bless him! Yes glitter bomb hit our house too it’s everywhere and hubby not too impressed when he has it on his face to go to work. Oops 😬 yes I can’t wait to make a section in my kitchen for candy lane maybe a hot chocolate station... wheels are turning in my head now hehe. Thanks for the inspiration your decor always amazes me how pretty and classy it is xxx
I absolutely love them all. And I'm definitely going to try and make them all🥰. Love your videos and I just love how creative you are. I hope you make a video showing us how you decorate your house for Christmas 🎄🥰
Thank you so much for watching our video and leaving a comment! Yes we do have a elf - his name is Marshmallow and he gets into quite the mischief...drinking syrup, playing the floor is lava and he even made mini pancakes in his little kitchen this year 😂
Susan thank you so much for watching our videos - it means so much to us. I do not use anything to seal the ornaments - I just pack them away in plastic bins for the next year. I do have some modge podge sealing spray but have not had to use it on anything except salt dough ornaments.
I haven't done any of your DIY ornaments (which I think are soo cute and beautiful to use as decoration) BUT! you inspire me to create my own chocolate bombs (from your video last time). Do you mind if I mention your channel (as my inspiration to that topic) when I feature chocolate bombs on my next episode sometime soon?! Love all the creativeness on this video! You guys are awesome!
Ah thank you! Of course you can mention our channel - you are so sweet and kind for that. 💗 I can’t wait to see this video on the hot chocolate. I had a fleeting thought of doing diy chocolate bombs and then saw a video about tempering the chocolate and it scared me away lol! I am so excited for you to try and maybe I will work the courage up to try too!
Hello I have a question about gummy bear . What are they? Ornaments ? Or are they inflatable ? And where did you buy it? Plus I love your cotton candy DIY .
Hi there and thank you so much for checking out my video. The gummy bears are actually from Hobby Lobby. They are plastic & they sell them every year around Christmas. I find them in sale for $5 each. They come with little Santa hats and I just pull them off. Thank you for checking out my video! It means so much to me. 🥰
Your children are absolutely beautiful! I like your background music... I've never heard those songs before. However, it is way too loud. I can hardly hear what you're speaking, but if I turn up the volume, the music comes on & blows my ears & speakers.
Thank you so much for the feedback. I never know how things sound on other devices only my computer and editing software so I will definitely take your feedback and lower my music volume. Much appreciated 🙏
