I wish RU-vid would start letting you post pictures in the comments but I just made this I like it I didn't have the canvas or twill so I just use regular cotton when it heavy interfacing it came out thicker but I like the overall results thanks

You don't need to do all this bias tape stuff. Just sew on your lining at the same time you're attaching your zippers. Also, you don't need a main and lining of the "bottom panel" just one piece of fabric will do.
I was scratching my head trying to figure out what you were talking about and after I rewatched the video, I see that that piece is attached behind the smaller zipper pocket. Thanks for clearing that up because I almost cut 2 pieces of fabric 👍🏿.

I made this once and it is great. However, I have a question? I'm making another for a friend, and I cut out all of the pattern pieces and find again, are no instructions of what to do with the pattern piece called Bottom Panel. Is this a mistake or is there some use for this pattern piece?
This looks like a very nice pattern and it looks like it's a good size because a lot of the other patterns I've used are just too small. But can you provide the finished measurements for this fanny pack? I didn't see it anywhere in the description.

any recommendations to keep the zipper from looking funky? I am using a single stitch foot and the zipper is looking bumpy. Yours looks nice and flat. My main fabric is the waterproof/resistant canvas. Thanks for your input
So what's the seam allowance supposed to be for this? It doesn't state it on any of the pattern pieces, and so I'm having difficulty getting pieces to line up properly
@@kjsestak3597 had to fiddle with it a bit, but it varied between 3/8 and 1/4 on different pieces for me. Wrote on each piece which seam allowance I would need, so I'm having no issues now and the pattern is coming out as it should.
@@kjsestak3597 he said a quater but that didnt make sense with the pattern shape and it didnt look like he was doing a quarter either so i did half I hope it turns out okay Also the zipper i chose is bigger than his so im having problems matching the patterns up 😭😭
I know y'all made this fanny pack some time ago but I have a question... The 2 front pieces for the first zipper, Front Panel and Front Top Panel are almost ⅜" too short when I place it on top of the Back Panel. Not sure what I did differently and was wondering if using a #3 size zipper instead of a bigger #5 zipper is the reason it's shorter than it's supposed to be?
After attaching zipper with front panel and front top panel, it's about ⅜" too short to line up with the Back Pocket Panel...I don't know what i did wrong. Did you use a #5 zipper because i used a #3 zipper.. Anyone have this issue while making this fanny pack?
Would love to purchase but I do have 2 questions before, hopefully anybody does know the answers: Are thr measurements also in cm included? Can I easil scale the pattern down without compromising it? (EG juet set the print mode to 85%)
No you don't. I made mine without it bc I'm still new to using bias tape and my fanny packs came out just fine. The bias tape just helps the finished project look more "clean."
Anybody have any idea why my machine is not sewing through? I'm using very similar material I'm thinking maybe my universal needle is not good enough? What needles are you guys using? thanks in advance :)
