Loved it! You really do have a “handmade” home! No mats, Rotary cutters and long plastic flat rulers for you. I don’t think you have time for all that stuff. A cloth measuring tape, and scissors are good enough! Most modern-day sewers would fainting they had to measure like you do! Ha! Darling pillow....turned out perfect!!!!!

I know you do Tex-Mex in your family, but was curious if you have ever made food from scratch that is Indian, Greek, Italian, etc... Lisa, where do you get your linen fabric from is it online? I need to cover cornices with a nice beige linen and black stripped fabric and I am having a hard time finding it. Love the pillow so cute!!
Turned out beautifully. Just a thought from the footage, it looks like your fabric sheers could use sharpening. If you take a few minutes to do it or invest in new ones you may notice your cut lines being much cleaner and taking less time to do
Thank you Lisa for this video. I’m a very beginner sewer and I’m curious as to why you do your ruffles that way instead of using a ruffle foot? I use my great grandmother’s featherweight singer and it came with a ruffle foot attachment. Is it just easier to do it the way you showed it than using the ruffle foot?
You God Work’s in strange ways cause yesterday I brought a new quilt for my bed and now my pillow shams don’t match. So I was wondering this morning how I could make new ones AND then there you were telling me how to do it. Now I’m thinking that this is just a coincidence but I’m not sure that you may be psychic 🤔.
