Kerry gold butter has been in the news, they're saying that the packaging uses PFAs, the forever chemicals 😬 I thought it might have been what you're using in this video! Just a heads up!
My question is why do you have a need to stock pile food. Do you live so far from local shops? Do you live in the wilderness? I saw you were filling great huge bins with grain, or unknown foods. Do you live on a farm that you need to feed large meals for workers? I can only suggest to computerize a list of your stockpile. Because there are dates of how long you can keep foods for. Rice is probably the only food that can be kept for a long time. Even can goods have a best before date. So be careful.
We had cicadas too over here in the Carolina’s and whew 😅we were so relieved when they were done! I thought it would be our whole summer! I kept thinking I needed earplugs outside and wondered if I was just overly sensitive 😂 turns out every one seems to have the same sentiment. Beautiful purple rose from your sister! Lovely addition to your pretty arrangement
Admire so many things you do in your videos, but can we just spotlight your skills chopping on a cutting board on the edge of a counter and not spilling?! I would make such a mess! Love your videos, they always inspire me ❤️🙌
Lisa - I made these today for Father’s Day and my husband‘s birthday and they came out great! Thank you! I even used 100% freshly milled flour. I had to knead the dough longer and was nervous it might not turn out, but they turned out great. Would you consider adapting some of your recipes to freshly milled flour and letting us know any tips you have? I feel like there’s a gap in recipes that are both sourdough and freshly milled flour. It’s been hard to find them.
date night such a great idea being home on a winter night with fireplace going, early to bed for children, couldn;t be better. Time to talk alone, candlelight dinne, u and Luke r the best! Pray u have many years of datenight ahead, Rhoda Bowen,Conyers, Ga.
People dnt realize how much work that woman is doing. A woman that stays home doing this its a full time job lnly difference is she doesn't answer to some random man as her boss
Your shopping trup to mennonite grocery store was very economical plus the home school material very ngood, always looking after your family! We have a Mennobite bakery in Wrens, Waynesbprp & Montgoezuma, Georgia, and Monticello, ga. Bargains galore,. Rhoda Bowen, conyers, ga
Lisa, I love watching your videos especially those that have anything about sourdough! Is it possible to have a sourdough starter and not have too much when you’re only one person? I was afraid I would have sourdough starter, coming out my ears and not able to use enough of it. Any suggestions when you’re just a single person living alone and want to have sourdough?
You only have a bunch of starter if you feed it a bunch. You should find what recipe you want to bake and then feed the sourdough accordingly. It is usually to have at least one cup on hand as that is what most recipes call for...if you need more you will just feed it more. No need to have large amounts around. I hope that helps
Why do you never feed your family most fruit and most vegetables.never even seen a banana or apple. Bread.potato onion and carrot. I'm not sure how your channel is supposedly healthy.
Freezer prep in your kitchen a smart chore before your due date, I had my first baby in naval hospital with jaundice *ABO incompatability). So lovely u & Luke r not selfish & have a large family & make time for all of them. Lovely meals in spite of all. How can I mail u & Luke a letter?Rhoda Bowen, conyers, ga

I am always amazed at how warm it seems to be where you live... Our top temperature this year has been 20 degree Celsius (68 F) apart from one day in April. Greetings from the north of Germany, and thank you for your inspiring videos!
Hi Lisa. I really enjoyed watching you use your herbs in so many ways. I always enjoy mine as well. I’m going to try your herb butter. It looked so delicious. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Summer. 😃
