Love watching your videos thank you. Would like to see how you grow your ginger and elderberries.

I did show how I started elderberries in this video...at 1:30. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CuAbvm9I48Q.html. Since then I've discovered that the best way to propagate elderberries is simply to prune and put pieces of the branches directly into the ground. If you keep them watered they almost always root. I was shocked at how easy it was. We now have an entire row of elderberries all from the 3 original plants. As for Ginger, I also show planting it in the same video..at 5:40. It worked. I had a great ginger harvest this fall. The only mistake I made was planting it out in the high tunnel a little too early. It got a bit of a shock with a cold night and while it recovered, it was definitely stunted. I'll be doing Ginger and Tumeric again this spring and will probably do a video showing the progress all through the season. I failed at Tumeric last year, but hopefully this year will be better. Thanks for watching.

Y'all are adorable taking a shot of this lol I kinda want to try this - I know my son would be into it. He loves apple cider vinegar haha He's a strange kid :)

It really is a 'kick' at first, but we both really enjoy it. I have a shot every morning and if I feel like I might be getting sick I do 2-3 shots/day. I just made a batch that included cranberries. I'm anxious to try all kinds of slight flavor variations. I hope you and your son enjoy it.

It is so pretty. I grew a lemon tree in a container this year. Got 5 lemons. The birds got 10. It needs to be protected from freezing.

I would LOVE to have fresh lemons. I'll probably give it a try next year. I should be able to bring in into the garage or the grow room over winter. (BAD BIRDS!!!)

So we made it, but I can barely get it down. I need a chaser for sure! Are you each taking a whole shot of this every day?
@waardenburgfamilyfarm4764

I (Brenda) do a shot every morning with breakfast, but Donny isn't as 'devoted'. He will do it if he feels sick at all, but I want to be consistent to see if there is any noticible result. Interestingly, two weeks ago, he got a REALLY bad cold and I didn't get it. Maybe conincidence, but maybe fire cider??? I ususally do have something to drink after the shot. (often milk kefir) Some batches have turned out a lot hotter than others. (mostly due to the differences in jalapenos) Did you put honey in it? Maybe more honey would make it easier for you?

I like a shot of fire cider with my kombucha. I also add it to my green juice.

If you took the fire cider ‘left overs’ and put them thru a potato ricer or a food mill …you would get more cider..🤗

I never thought of that. Thanks for the great idea! I'll definitely do that next time.

I made a batch of Fire Cider a few months ago & couldn’t find horseradish at the time. Finally added prepared horseradish and there’s no heat at all. I think my hot peppers were duds, too. Now I have some fresh horseradish root and want to have another go. Here’s my question- is there any reason why I can’t use the finished product from the first try as part of the ACV that I cover the fruits, herbs, & veggies with this time? It’s had honey added, but is that a problem?

I really don't know. I'm very new to all of this. If you belong to any herbal medicine groups, that would be a great question for them. Sorry I don't have an answer. Let me know what you do and how it works out.
