I haven't seen an interior design aesthetic like this before. There are ornate elements such as the ceiling within an overall clean palette with all the white drawers. It's ornate for a van but also airy and light. I noticed the shade of gray on the subway tile is repeated on the cushion covers and on the toile design on the pillows. Well done.

I love this van build, she really thought of everything. The white with the navy tile and gray upholstery is so classy looking. All the wonderful storage too!!!

So many great ideas for a van build. Really like that she turned a negative space into cutting board storage. Using magnets is incredibly smart. Just the overall design made sense and I definitely have even more ideas for my build.

You have a very clean van with a practical design. I’ve seen soooo many van design videos and I’m always asking “where’s the pee funnel”! Kudos for the preservation in seeing your dream come to fruition. Addressing the personal day to day issues that do surface and your willingness to resolve them was priceless. ABSOLUTELY love your built in picnic table.... I use Tension rods in cupboards to keep things from falling out when you open doors...

Wow, I've seen a lot of builds, and this one is beautiful, & very inventive. You manage to have it all! Great job, & you're a beautiful couple! I personally like the idea of having the table/couch area, but have a Murphy bed.

Just take it easy. I was diagnosed with Crohns in 2001. I found that stretching out after eating helps A LOT. If I'm out hiking and I have lunch I throw down a blanket and lay down. I love everything about your van the only thing I would do different is have a Murphy bed that comes down over the couch and remove one of the cabinets that way it make it easy.

My favorite van so far. I feel like she thought of everything. The shower pan drawer is so smart and the pocket door is perfect. So stylish too.

I think you are a great couple, Lauren is a beautiful soul. your van work is really good for DIY and a limited budget. Personally I would start with a proper shower and toilet and work outwards in a build but that is just my needs, it depends where you plan to stopover. If it suits your needs for now then its all good, I suspect if you were to do another van with what you have learnt it would be amazing.

I, being retired, travel with a Micro Minnie camper, and watch a lot of RU-vid videos, but rarely see anything unique in a build, however I don't think I have ever seen such a neat "picnic" setup like you have on the back of the van. Thant is so well thought out and set up.

Very clever, neat, and clean! Innovative solutions--- the outdoor picnic seating, the shower closet with the pee funnel. and so much more. I really like that the way you didn't have the typical garage set-up! And the same for your use of space instead of a wet-bath. And the metallic ceiling--- genius!

This van conversion is absolutely the best I've seen ! You did an awesome job designing this home on wheels. The materials, the colors, the design & the functionality are amazing. I especially love the outdoor pop-out benches & table.

What I love most about your build is that you did it all yourself as a woman. Its rare to see that. No man explaining the Tech parts about the power grid - you built it and you know your own system. This makes me so proud. Finally, women are starting not to be afraid to tackle the trade skills. Very well done! Regarding the tiling, also glad you put up real tile, there is a world of difference. 60 lbs is a lot of extra weight and every lb costs extra gas, so be aware. They make very thin 1/8 tile that drops weight down. I use MAPEI thinset mortar + Polymer on tile backing, then Grout + MAPEI Grout Maximizer (Polymer as well). This rubberizes the backing and it holds well without cracks. The polymer in the grout instead of water acts as a sealant as well, so no cracking, crumbling or mold. I see you used one but not the other. Use both for maximum strength, and reduce size of your tile. Schluter makes amazing and very lightweight backer boards for tile, ideal for RVs. Your choice of tile color is beautiful! I totally agree with you about the microwave. Essential for reheating. I cook once for the week and freeze and refrigerate it all, so micro is useful. The toilet is a very smart savings. $1000 for a toilet is outrageous. If no one bought the Natures Head, price would come down drastically. You did exactly the right thing with the toilet bags. This works for black tank traditional toilets too. Put in a plastic baggie in the bowl, add some sawdust, do #2, tie up the bag, and toss it in trash like dog poop. Best solution. I think your shower solution needs redesign. Make a proper wet bath. Its do able. Add an Extend-a-rod shower rod that folds outwards and add a steel shower pan with a wood slat mat on top to keep you dry while water rolls into tank below. This is a must. Your current setup is unwieldy and too much work. Make your own Separette toilet funnel going to black tank directly or add an extra pee funnel to the bathroom so you have two. Nice toe kicks, lit up too, lovely! This is a beautiful van build, brava young lady! Now for some health info: Crohns, SIBO, IBS, bloating, and general abdominal malfunction are all related issues. Crohns is 'hereditary' in Jewish families. But 'hereditary' is simply another way of saying that food habits and emotional habits are handed down generationally. There are hereditary cell changes that are passed down, but these can be reversed in the next generation. What you have to look at as a cure for this, is - how does your liver and gall bladder function? Fasting for a day or two may restore better function in your gall bladder which may have sludge. A coffee enema may remove toxins fast from your GI tract. Use Chlorella in this flush too. SIBO or Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth is related. When your stomach acids are insufficient and gall bladder is not producing enough bile to digest food, digestion becomes a chronic issue. What you have to do, is to flush out all existing bile in the gall bladder using coffee enemas (look up the process, as there are steps to this), fast 1-2 days (in your case, use some bone broth and minerals so you don't dehydrate). Then you start taking Silymarin (Milk Thistle) to crank up new bile production and liver detox. Start taking digestive aids like NOW brand 'Super Enzymes' which have ox bile, digestive enzymes, Betaine Hydrochloride (stomach acid), pancreatic enzymes like Lipase (fat digesting), Protease, Amylase, Lactase, etc. Take 2 with every meal and continue this for a year to give your digestive tract a boost and a rest. For older people with bloating issues, fasting and using this Enzyme mix will solve all digestive issues. Dr Berg also makes a formula but this one is cheaper. Use clean filtered water from Berkey filter or steam distilled water to detox well. Raw cabbage juice or Aloe Vera juice heals inflamed gut tissue. MSM (sulfur mineral) + Glucosamine powders + Vit C (bulk powders from Amazon) are anti inflammatory for the gut and joints - very safe even in high doses - take 1/2 tsp with water 2 x day. Cut out all carbs and sugar, no wheat, no dairy (except yoghurt), no oily food, no spicy foods, no alcohol, no sodas, no gluten. Drink plain diluted kefir for the probiotics, take New Zealand Colostrum as a probiotic food. You may be missing stomach acids, bile, and friendly gut bacteria. You may have an overgrowth of bad bacteria and yeast. This is essentially the issue. Look at Dr Eric Berg on RU-vid. Look into Standard Process PMG tablets for your gut. PMG or Protomorphogens is a medical discovery by Dr Royal Lee in 1947. The bottles cost $20 or so online. Its an interesting concept. Its a decoy system and especially useful in any autoimmune chronic inflammatory conditions where the body attacks itself. I hope this is useful to you and can help with your condition.

The van is not only tastefully furnished, but also very practical and efficient. It is one of the best I have seen and all in the smallest space. Really well thought out.

Omg girl, I totally understand, I was diagnosed with CROHN’s disease in 2003 but now I’m healed. I gave up meat 🥩 eggs, dairy, alcohol 🥃 and caffeine and have no trace of it now. Also I recently learned about Medical Medium and have been doing his protocol daily. You can get rid of CROHN’s despite what SOME doctors might tell you. 💜
