Very nice tip! I always just used my old t-shirts for rags! You could maybe make longer t-shirts into skirts, maybe even layer a few of them - ideas, ideas, ideas!!! Thank you so much for this!!!

Kelli, my 28 year old daughter went crazy making these scarves! She uses cotton t-shirts AND polyester shirts. Both look beautiful. The material she uses simply depends on the shirt(s) she wants to wear them with. I've been very intimidated to attempt to make one until I watched this video. Now I know my daughter's been making an easy to make scarf look difficult which makes her appear to be extremely crafty! She's going to crap her pants when she sees mine! Thank you for helping me set her straight!!! Um, I delight in the moment!

I ,just finished a aquamarine one! I painted flowers on a tee, but it shrunk! I didn't want to throw out my design. Also, I cut sleeves off upper, and used fishing line w/beads to connect back and so I have 2 scarves! Thank you for the neat work !!!

I love the whole concept.... but may I suggest you get a ruler and a rotary cutter? It will cut the time factor waaaay down and the accuracy is much better. Great job Kelli! :D

@TheLoganluvzJLSxxx Ahh I'm so happy you made it AND got a chance to make one for yourself!! They are super easy and fun to wear! Another cool idea if you want to change looks a little bit... you can put some beads on the ends and tie the bottom to hold them on... or you can tie pieces together for a different effect!!

i did mine but cut the finished edges so it is more relaxed and added tye die in orange for an ombre effect Pretty cool.

Love your tutorial! Maybe in the future you can invest in some supplies that would make this a whole lot faster. A rotary cutter would make your cuts really fast and there's a ruler type deal that's designed to make fringe easier as well. I got mine using coupons at Joann Fabrics which make them a great deal too! Good luck with your videos. You are delightful!
