Hello Ms. CCW, I love your videos and all the gorgeous pieces you make. Today is my birthday, and I am 53 years old. I would love to purchase one of your sets for my gift to myself this year. I do this each year for myself. Now blue is my favorite color but I use a lot of gold and silver in my decor. I also have a RU-vid channel here, and just watching your work is so amazing. I have learned a lot from you about painting glass. I try and find them at thrift stores but barely get any luck, lol. But can you please let me know how to purchase one of your sets. I am so honored that you would ask, but unfortunately I don't sell the pieces I make. I had thought about doing that at some point, but I came to the conclusion that I get more joy from teaching, and from making things that I can enjoy or give as gifts. I subscribe to your channel, and I've admired your work for some time. So I can't even begin to say how honored I am that you would even inquire something that I made. @DIY Design By CCW I have been admiring you, lol. But I understand. If I only could find a place to store all my pieces, I would never stop crafting. My mom tries to get all of them, and I am trying to lean to let go more. Even though I could use them in quite some different ways, I have a storage unit that may be the size of my master bedroom and my master is very large. I can fit a three piece living room set I. The sitting area alone. That is full of storage tubs, and I can't even reach a lot of my first DIYs on my channel. My Christmas set I love is so deep in there that I find myself purchasing new stuff each year. I have a little confession to make. I still have up my largest Christmas tree because it is just so beautiful, and it doesn't hurt that it's in my favorite color. Blue and gold. I took my one I decorated with 99% totally Dazzled brochures. But I have the boxes just sitting out trying to bring myself to take it down. I don't know. But I am getting new family furniture soon so I have to take it down when that happens. I am sitting here on the bed trying to come up with something to do for this week, and I changed it twice because a popular youtuber here she and I brain's must be o. The same wave length because her last two DIY'S are so closest to mine that I have to come up with something new. This is one of the reasons I took a break and why I try not to watch Glam DIY'S because once I see something similar, I don't want to do it. I want to bring new things. The things everyone likes but just in away that hasn't been done. This is why I love the tray I made this past week. I have to get my views back up. And I know that will require me to go back to the basic. Uploading as much as I can. So I may just have to refresh of a mirror that I was saving for a short video. But thank you again, and I do want to tell you I will be using your method for making lids very soon. Thank you for being a light and inspiration to the Diy, Glam, and seasoned DIY family.
You know I totally get it. I have learned to keep what I really like and let go of some of the other pieces because I can only store so much. Sometimes I take some pieces a part after awhile, and reuse or remake them and try to make them better. But now those decorative trays, I have a hard time letting go of lol.. But the things I find I don't use after some time, like vases or storage containers, if I can't strip them and remake them, or give them away, I have been known to toss them out. RU-vid is so fickle sometimes. The videos I think people want to see they don't watch. And then the ones I am not that crazy about, they do watch. I decided to just do what I am inspired to do and let the views come when they come. Maybe you and I can collaborate sometime. That would be fun. And I can't wait to see how your lids turn out! Hi Bill! I get my brushes from either Jo-Anne Fabric's Michael's or Walmart. I think in this video I'm using the brand that Walmart sells. It's called Royal & Langnickel. But any brush that rated for acrylic paint would do the trick. Thanks for watching and for asking!
