I did a show in the summer of '08. I was a dancing plate in Beauty & the Beast. The edges of the plate were covered in glitter. Needless to say I still find gold glitter randomly in my room. I haven't used gold glitter after that show so I know that's where it is from. I couldn't tell you how many times I vacuumed, swept, and washed my floor since the show, but still manage to find random pieces. So I know your feeling about glitter. Lol. ;)
I feel ya on the glitter thing. I used tons of glitter this halloween for my costume and vowed never to do that again. was cleaning glitter off everything for a week
this is so cute!! i had the same thing happen to me once with glitter spray paint. I think the glitter just clogs the nozzle and makes it explode. it loads of fun to clean up lol
I love how glitter looks but there's no way in hell I'd pick those bottles up! Haha! Glitter forever!! Good recovery from the broken spray paint though ;)
They looked nice but not very practice. Didn't the guests get glitter all over their hands when serving themselves? No matter how much you shake it or let it dry there's always at least some glitter fall out after using so much glitter in any project.
I didn't actually drink the champagne. It was more of a decorative piece. You can also spray the surface with either hairspray or an acrylic sealer to keep the glitter from flaking off and getting all over everything.
On New Years Even you "go all out" by purchasing the cheapest bottles of champagne? REALLY?! Not even ok quality champagne? Way to celebrate another year . . .
