Gosh it looks beautiful .... I would like to have it for the bedroom roof with space glitter and moon to give the feels of sleeping under the sky. An addition will be neon glitter mixed there to show an ultimate roof scenery. Lots of ideas are streaming in my mind. I also think the gold glitter roof with a sun drawn in one of the rooms will look nice.
this is literally my dream floor and could only find expensive complicated applications. I was so scared to go with a stone floor. I legit love you guys. definitely subscribing, I'll be waiting for more stuff like this 😍
Omg yes please. this is gorgeous! this will be my next project. I wonder if Holo glitter would look good? that's the look of glitter I like best but I love all glitter.
nice dudes! I've been wanting to do this but with a midnight blue and teal glitter with just a bit of fuchsia glitter in there. maybe a tad of silver or gold. I wanna feel like I'm walking on stars or like that scene from Fern Gully, stars reflecting on pools of water. These simple things like cool floors and cold beers can make a person feel really good. Life is sweet
Wow!!!!! I'm in love with that floor and your not too bad yourself. I've always loved glitter floors etc, you did a great job. Best wishes from London Paula
guys you do great job, a piece of unsolicited advice, try to show more of finished effect close ups, angles, various angled light etc... hope you come to NYC one day.
Thank you for the feedback. I will send this to our videographer for updates. Xtreme Polishing Systems has recently opened up a location up north that does provide service to NYC. Xtreme East can be contacted by calling (877) 958-6207
Speaking as a life long glitter obsessive lover I find this UTTERLY stunning!! .. I would have wanted a full coverage though but I appreciate this is how you wanted it.
Gorgeous! Love it! I'd love to do a black glitter floor with silver metallic flakes in it!! Great tutorial & very informative!! Thank You So much for sharing!!!
If they use a yellow primer it would look flat...which is exactly what you dont want. Black primer contrasts and gives it depth. violet is yellows complement.
We built our house 2 years ago we told the people who poured our concrete that we were going to stain the floors though out the whole house. I had picked out a beautiful brown black high gloss color. Well the walls started going up alone with everything else that goes alone with building a house and I ask several times about the floor? When will the floor be done? Shouldn't the floor be protected from all the traffic of different things? Well our guy that did our plumbing and a few other things kelp telling my husband that our floors were not going to take the stain!!! Guess what it didn't .... 2 years later my beautiful new house has UGLY floors. It breaks my heart and I need advice on what we can do to make them gorgeous like we had planned. I've watched you guys videos And was wondering is your product the answer? Thanks for any info👍🏻
I'm obsessed with my gold glitter nail polish. I sit in the sun, do my nails and spin the bottle in the sunshine. So beautiful! If only I weren't renting.🤗
Yes, this is the outcome that we were looking for, but to get the floor to look the way you referencing, there are epoxy supplies to ensure this. For process and product specific information, please give Chris a call at (877) 958-5192.
if i wanted to tint the glitter epoxy how much dye should i use, and does it effect the amount of glitter? 16 oz. of glitter per 1 gallon mixed (2A+1B) epoxy....so does adding dye mess up the ratio of anything? im looking for a pear like color, so how much dye and white glitter would i need and what would be all the mix ratios? 2 gallons A 1 gallon B ? Glitter ? Dye
Yes, epoxy can be applied over wood with the correct preparations. Please give Chris, Xtreme's industry expert, a call at (877) 958-5192 and he will be happy to go over the process with you. You may also reach him at info@xtremepolishingsystems.com
Is there other colors available to lay down as the original coat? for example, you used black here, but could you essentially "tint your primer"(the first coat) to help the second coat cover better?
Best 18 minutes of my life! My question is if you do one room then, say, another room some other time, what will the edge of the epoxy floor be like? It won't break or have uneven edges will it?
As with any flooring installation, if you are not installing throughout the whole surface, there will need to be a transitional strip or a flow guard. Epoxy is self leveling, so the edges will not be uneven with a transitional strip. For procedural advise, please give one of our experts a call at (877) 958-5192
Question: Couldn't you have used an asphalt sealer for the base and then utilise your Epoxy Gold glitter (which is awesome btw) system on top? The asphalt sealer system seems to be more effective in time management, durability and cost. What are your thoughts on this?
Your floor looks great, I'll bet it looks even better after the second coat. I have a small room in my house where I make wine and charcuterie. Can my floor be coated with a pearl white epoxy? For a 10x 12 room what is the approx cost? Thanks so much brother.
+Frank Daniels Absolutely your floor can be coated in whatever color or style you prefer. For product specific information, please give the guy in the video a call at (877) 958-5192 or by emailing in at info@xtremepolishingsystems.com.
I am interested. Would like to put epoxy metallic or glitter on my existing garage floor (600 sqft). Is there a guide with step by step instructions from the floor prep until finishing?
Absolutely, step by step guides can be found under our resources page on our website at www.xtremepolishingsystems.com/how-to-concrete-flooring-guide-s/1911.htm
wow. this looks so cool. i want to go order this and try this out....... but i am renting. :(( :(( :(( videos like this makes me wish i own a house. :((
We are planning on doing our basement floor in the glitter epoxy style using microglitter and this video was super helpful--especially the sandals you guys were wearing. Did you make those or buy them?
The black was put down as a primer color since it's hard to 100% cover the floor with glitter. We added black as a base and gold glitter to reflect our logo. Since epoxy has chemical reaction when combining the two parts together, industrial glitter is required to withstand the high temperatures.
