I gotta say , you guys are really great to work with. Brandon has been so helpful with everything from design a ideas to accessibility with any and all questions. I won't be ordering from anyone else! Thanks !!! Concrete Concepts & Design
BEAUTIFUL JOB but the camera man made me dizzy! I have been watching a LOT of video's prior to doing our floor and this was the best look and technique I have seen! I love the leaf blower technique lol! I actually used a blow dryer while I was doing sample panels before doing our floor so this made sense to me! THE KIDS and dog playing was so fun! Thanks for sharing!
This looks awesome! Bet if you used the right red, yellow, and oranges, you can make a decent "floor is lava" room that your kids will never dare set foot in. Hahaha
The application was excellent no doubt its one of the best I have seen. I however felt a bit dizzy watching the footage from the Gopro installed on the applicators head. It was intended to give a new perspective but as the movements were very fast it made my head spin. Just something I thought i would bring to your notice. Please keep loading such nice videos. Keep up the good work. Sanjay - Oman.
Look absolutely amazing! But man that head cam.... gave me motion sickness on time lapse, I had to fast forward through those parts, that aside I want to grad my surfboard and head to that basement and drop in brah
I know what you mean! Had to speed it up we got people complaining about how boring some of the other videos are! You wait we got some amazing videos coming up so make sure you like and subscribe!

@@DeviantWays that's one of the kindest things anyone online has said to us. Your right, people will say what they say. God bless you my friend. I'm sure you'll do great in anything you do.
I think if you added some lightning bolts and a little bit of flames from Surter sitting on his throne cursing Thor, Loki,Odin, Hela and Heimdall and Valkyrie and anyone else from that group of characters with Asgard in the background would be awesome.
If the current coating is failing yes you need to remove it using a PCB attachment on a diamond grinder. It just replaces the diamonds and PCB's look like stones. If the coating is still adhered properly, then you can coat over top of it by putting a scratch in it using screen. Give us a call we can help you. 1-877-288-1952.
How did you make it so flat? Wouldn’t there be a ridge of epoxy on either side of the squeegee when it goes over an area? It’s incredible how smooth everything was.
This is awesome, my question is though, how do you maintain a floor like this? Wouldn’t it become kind of tacky or wear down and have a kind of “gross” look to it after a long period of wear and tear
If you watch the ending we show you what it looks like months later. Alot of other videos don't show that. Actually it still looks brand new. You apply a top coat and it will last a very long time. All of our top coats are industrial grade.
Wow.. people are still doing this!? I remember doing epoxy floors for my dads concrete company back in 2002. Mixing up my own colors and concoctions and using his air compressor to get different effects. I thought that would have faded by now just like engraving
What roller are you everything I usexa roller it sheds hairs, I prep the rollers by wrapping them in tape and pulling the tape off. Using epoxy rollers from ez epoxy supply still have hairs..
Hey really impressed with this floor. It’s in my plan this summer to start my own concrete coatings business and epoxy will be one I offer. I’m watching a ton of videos from you guys and others in the field. Learning so much. Keep up the good work
Actually no! Epoxy is kind of grippy. Once a urethane is applied it’s a little more slippery. For the cold, heck no! Bare concrete is cold this is built up and feels amazing walking on it with bare feet
Yes but I would apply 2, maybe 3 coats of urethane top coat. HDI is great if you can stand the smell during application. It's one of our cheapest urethanes too! Give us a call we can help you build a kit specifically designed for where you live and what you use the space for. 1-877-288-1952
No we didn't have too. The home has no moisture problems at all. However, if you are professionally applying for customers, you should so that the end product is perfect and has the best chance to last as long as possible for your client. This home didn't have any signs at all of moisture issues, if it did, we would have. Also, we didn't want to go into that with this video. We wanted it to just be fun. We cover that in our other technical videos. Thanks for commenting!
We've been getting a lot of folks asking how we're walking on the floor during the application. We use a special spiked shoe. They strap to your boots or shoes! Also this coating is very durable. You can apply this in your garage or other areas. You just have to apply a top coat. We sell everything, from the epoxy, metallic pigments to the tools needed. Give us a call if you're interested in coating your floor. The cost is cheaper than any other type of flooring, and much more intriguing. 1-877-288-1952 or visit spartanepoxies.com and grab your kit today!
My respect. Beautyful and Excelent job. copying their technique and the colors they used, I'm going to try to make it look as good as yours. ¿Where can you get the machine to use at the end of the video, what is its name? successes.
Install was free bc we teach you how to do it! Price varies depending on how thick you go and if you choose to apply a topcoat. Figure about $1.75 to $2 bucks per sq ft! Less than any flooring solution out there and get it down in a fraction of the time and effort!
Just a bit overworked in a couple corners for my taste (pure opinion..... but this happens in all crafts, including writing music, making pottery, building customer vehicles, etc) which muddies up the contrast. Gotta know when to say when and stop moving it around to make it perfect....... But still better than I could do on my best day. Now I want one that looks like fire/lava.
So i want to do a 3 color epoxy black white and red but i want some spots to be solid how do i rol it without smudging the solids? Do i simply let it self level?
Is this suitable for a low traffic garage floor? Its primarily a storage building ... I have used epoxy to repair floors in van trailers (Semi Trailers) but I use the glaze coat to fill in gouges etc some deep.... I have also seen glaze coat used on industrial floors where concrete has chunked out...is that similar in strength?
I'm a little confused. I used fiberglass resin and epoxy to make molds and cores for casting in my profession, and You always had to wear a respirator for the fgr, but the epoxy was not as obnoxious to the nose and throat... so we wouldn't use one. We later found out the epoxy was far more dangerous and unhealthy to the throat and lungs. Is your epoxy different?
@@spartanepoxies3798 oh my God.. You're talking about 35 years ago. I believe it was 10 to one.. Does that sound right? Kind of a battleship grey color.
We used it for the molds for running foam latex. Typically we'd use Ultracal 90 as it had the ability to absorb a lot of water out of the mixed foam latex. Hydrocal worked better, but it had only half the strength of the Ultra. Because the mold and core were epoxy, this created a bad side effect that ruined a lot of foam castings. The moisture turned to steam in the oven, and this would collapse areas flat. The molds were approaching indestructible though.
Do you need to grind the floor with a grinder in a house ? Or is that over kill cause I was looking at a grinder for 7k is it better quality then acid washing?
It's very easy to clean, just use a light detergent. It's tough too, if you apply one of our industrial grade top coats, a skid loader with solid rubber tires can drive on it!
@@spartanepoxies3798 not bad but is there a certain soap? I had to ask cause I've had ceramic tile, hardwood floors, and linoleum and each I noticed needs different care. Oh and how slippy is it? Lol we had a ceramic tile that was too smooth in our kitchen growing up and that floor could be deadly
Why do you let the pigments sit overnight? I’m curious? Can you makes a side by side video of end result. Of letting sit over night and not letting sit please. New subscriber!!!
The reason is you get bubbles or trails in the surface. Sorry we only make videos of successful applications. Doing it wrong could confuse people! Thanks for subscribing more videos to come!
Joe Bob that’s not a “bad” answer. Why would they purposely ruin a batch of epoxy just to say, do it like we already know how to do it? Just use the epoxy like the instructions say and move on. I’m sure they have way more R & D than you can imagine.
Not at all. Just like any floor it can scratch. There are many ways to prevent that such as using the felt pads that stick to sharp areas on your furniture. I actually have hardwood in my living room, and I put felt pads on everything bc my couch was scratching my hardwood.
@@spartanepoxies3798 does one of your products resist scratches better then this one? Or can i seal this with one of your clear sealers to protect it? Let’s say it gets scratched up in a year is there a way to seal back over it-this one or one of your other products. I will be talking to you guys soon-i need to do a 3200 floor-can’t decide on which product yet. But curious with your products to which can be resealed or do i have to start all over and which is the most resistant to scratches and dings which will be unavoidable in the situation I’ll be using it in.
@@meatball6930 not sure what their company uses, but if it's just a finished epoxy then you should be able to buff out scratches from 200grit sandpaper and bring it up to like 2500 in stages. But normally people put urathanes down, and you can put a non skid aggregate and the combination of the two combined is really good against scratches.
How well with this hold up under harsh outdoor conditions? I have a covered outdoor patio on the ocean. It is subject to heavy salt spray and quite warm temps.
