Looks good but way too big but that's probably the interesting piece of it. There was a restaurant that their desserts were huge and it was their trade mark...Hess's in Allentown, PA. Yum!
I cannot remember the flavor or the name of the shave ice place, in Kauai. It was delicious! It was creamy delicious! lol Thank you for such a great video, spot on with your recipes and instructions!
Amazing dessert! I’m just curious, what do you call the clear container you used for your mochi balls. I’d love to have those containers in my kitchen as well. 🥺
the last time I did this my ice block cracked and I failed to get shaved ice. is there a special instruction to freeze the ice block so that it won't crack. From the Internet I learned that ice to be used in a shaver needs to be frozen from a lower constant temperature.
Just bought an Hawaiian shaved ice machine (s900a) because I love plain shaved ice never tried it with all the extra goodies. Just wondering is it really that good? Is it worth trying with ice cream, syrup, condensed milk etc? Because if so, I definitely will but I’m just trying to gage if it would be worth purchasing all the products especially the syrup considering I’m in London and shipping costs etc...
Jack O'Sullivan not the syrup. They’re $15 for a pack of 3 minimum plus shipping cost and bank charges = a minimum of $53 or £39. Hence my question. if anyone does have a useful answer to my original question pls let me know, I’m still incredibly curious. Thank you 😊
@@CeeCee962 you can make your own syrup with kool aid packets, sugar, and water. Just do a search for homemade snow cone syrup and you'll find a ton of recipes. We make ours all the time.
The snow cone cup is way too small. You need a small bucket. Just saying, if your going to fix that much per customer, don't you think they'd rather eat it and not take a bath in it as it melts?
I think its pretty safe to say the average person has had shaved ice at least once in their life... And yeah I agree the cone is too small and its paper it'll get soggy before most people finish half... It would just make more sense to just a bowl
Dang bro, all that sugar ! How many calories in this ? Also you said small, wow i wanna see a large. S900A is perfect for the average home . There just a good and way cheaper than this industrial model. Still cool vid except picks up block with bare hands then says get gloves lol.
Slushy I wonder how much he’d actually get when he’s finished, because a lot of that would be melted all over the place!!! I’m sure it tastes wonderful, but what a major sticky mess! Lol You could do the same thing on a MUCH smaller scale. Then again, it’s his, so he can do whatever he wants-he has to consume the calories, & he (hopefully) has to clean up the mess!
Funny he acts like it’s no big deal to just go so the store and buy one of those machines. I think they are several thousand dollars. I have a somewhat decent ice shaver at home but I’m thinking of getting something better. I only spent like $65 bucks though. I’m online looking for the flavor recipes. I’m getting tired of just using kool-aid packets for flavors.
