I considered doing a graveyard as one big set piece but you’ve convinced me that scatter terrain is the was to go. I really like the scatter terrain builds you do and I’d love to see a whole series of smallish scatter terrain videos done in your style. Another great video my friend, keep up the excellent work, we’ll see you next Friday.

Very cool video! Having a surplus of lolheadstones is always extremely useful! I made several years ago but they are not as cool as yourself! Personally I made mine from limestone rocks. I found stones in my driveway washed them then threw them in the rock tumbler over night ( I have one because I reload bullets). I then take a perm marker and trace out the graphics, use a dremel to carve it then it's back in the rock tumbler , repeat until they are done

@@TabletopWitchCRAFT yeah but what you get in authenticity you suffer for in variety, I like your method a lot better. I'm just incredibly cheap, I constantly look at trash to try and repurpose it for game terrain bud. Recently I have been saving a bunch of large coffee creamer plastic cans ( I drink a lot of coffee) and have been toying around with some ideas for using them as guard shacks,a circular staircase or possibly a small shrine. Regardless I use the lids off them constantly for bases . I just made a dilapidated bridge recently going over a river using a lid, some paint, a couple rocks, some bush clippings that made nice bushes/trees, some gorilla glue, super glue, and some mulberry branches left over from after I had given them to my 🐐 goat to eat the Leaves and it turned out pretty cool

I would love to see you create some medieval tomb effigies, with hand carved dead persons for the effigies. Would be difficult to do with extruded foam, so, polymer clay or green stuff would probably be best. It certainly would be a challenging project. Worth a shot?

It may just be my personal aesthetic, but have you tried using the files to get crisp edges on worked stonework like those gravestones? I usually see it done with brown stuff rather than green because it seems to hold edges better, but i was curious if you have tried any of that? and did you find it worthwhile?
@TabletopWitchCRAFT
@TabletopWitchCRAFT 4 года назад
You can definitely get some really nice edges with a file using Green Stuff. The nice thing about making them this way is that you have a really nice edge already by making them on the glass. I actually used a file in the video to round that edge.

something I've also discovered is that if you want to make and underframe for a small sculpture like your rat, instead of using the pen end you can roll tiny pieces of miliput together to form you basic shape let that cure over night then next day with a mix of Miliput and greenstuff (you can play with the mix of that too to make it more or less flexible) you can lay your details over the top. although I've now switched to procreate for that as it holds detail better
