For me I don't use that method personally, as I enjoy hand carving. Most people use heat guns and hot wire cutters on foam/polystyrene sheets. I know fellow builders who use this method and it can be more time efficient and create amazing effects to mimic natural rock. Be careful with spray foams as some spray foams may not react well, in particular spray foam does not like hot wire cutters. Thanks for supporting the channel and dropping a comment! Sorry I meant to say use the heat gun once you've cut haha it just seemed to seal it but I've never done it so don't know. Yeh I've heard that they don't like the spray foam to much, with the silicone and spray foam are they animal safe or is it just a matter of the curing time? Thanks again for the feedback. Also just a thought regarding the shadow effect, would it be worthwhile to setup lighting etc to get those shadows, looks like it comes up great without it
