The dark background really disrupted the viewing - when Kate braided and said 'you can see how messy the braid is' I was almost shouting 'no I can't!!!!!' I get the idea, but dark hair, dark clothes on a black background just doesn't work :(
Emmalee Braam If you want to go to more events where you feel comfortable in costumes, comic conventions are a great place to go and show off some cool costumes! Otherwise I think you and your SO could do what ***** did and have a dressed up Halloween date :)
I don't know either of the shows that inspire these but you guys look fantastic! Love to see how Kate creates the effects she envisions for both of you. VERY creative....great job guys.
Love how these turned out but I wish more time was spent on the costume and the details. It was also really dark and hard to see what was going on at times.
So cool! My husband is obsessed with the Vikings. I loved getting some ideas to help his dreams come true. Lol. I only wish there was a little better lighting to see all the cool details.
A good tip for keeping all the hair in check (like joey's short hair on the side): Set hairspray with a hot hairdryer. That's how I kept up my mohawk up so I'm sure it'll work for keeping it in place!

why the black background? You can "pose" in darker background but when you tutorial such as clippings the extension to Joey's hair, it really look dark. literally 😔😕

Same! The costumes were amazing from what I could see, but even with my brightness turned all the way up, I could barely see a lot of the video. I think all the dark fabrics and stuff and the dark lighting together just made it SO difficult to see details :(

I used to be a SFX artist. You can buy crepe hair, glue it on in strips and cut it to your liking. Super easy! I can give more detailed instructions if you want.
