She shows us at 4:28. You just sew down the elastic to the hat for like an inch and then sew the sides of the elastic together to make a loop. Then you just put it on like a headband, but with a hat piece attached!

From my observation, she drew a straight line to d circle then at the both sides of the line, she measured 0.5 inch then connected to d main line. Hope it helps
Hi. So how did u get this to stay on your head??? It’s not shown in the video exactly what all you did. I’ve watched it a few times, & I see you’re using elastic, but WHERE did you use it?, & HOW is it placed on your head because I don’t see the elastic band sticking out or anything. Thx in advance!
Nicky Mel Go to any craft store. It’s the poster board. You can also use very stiff interfacing. The one you buy your the yard. It is so stiff i use it for pattern making.
Thank you for the design of this hat I made this hat but I used a big top to a pot that we have that we used to boil crabs and to make the Hat as big and as wide as the one Beyonce was wearing so this worked out very well
