This was made with items I had on hand. A wire hanger and two rolls of tulle I purchased from. www.giftsintl.c... I purchase by the spool 6' 25 yard rolls.
That looks really nice! Thanks for the tutorial. You probably already thought of this but just in case... When cutting on a mat if your first cut is on '4' and you're cutting 4" at a time, without moving the tulle, you can then cut on '8' and '12' and '16'. It will save quite a bit of time if you're not moving the tulle on every cut. Hope this helps. And thanks again for the video. :-)
+Terri Koonce-Tom Thank you. I appreciate the tip. I actually figured that out after I did all the cutting. Thank you for watching. If interested check out my giveaway video to enter.
Janene Chaffins Thank you so much Janene I really appreciate you watching. My mother was very creative so I did a lot with her growing up. So now I find fun things to do with my children. With RU-vid I can teach others how to make things inexpensively.
I just found your video I enjoyed it , you might try wrapping the hanger with some type of ribbon the same color as the tulle so it would look more uniform , that's what I do you can also use pliers to make the hanger more round , keep up the good work !!!!
+Vickie Murray thank you Vickie. I do think tulle makes for a lot of beautiful things too. I may do one for Thanksgiving this year. I really appreciate you watching.
You are the sweetest. I love how real you are just telling us about your son and letting us hear the phone ring and apologizing for having to take the call. It’s just refreshing to see “the real life”. Love this wreath!!
Thank you, I do appreciate you for saying that. A lot of times people don't like when I talk but I always wanted to be real when doing these videos. I appreciate you watching.
Hello, the tulle roll is 6 inches wide. I did mention this in the video before I started cutting. I'm not sure if you missed it. It's a 6-inch wide roll and I cut them 4 inches. I hope this helps.
THIS IS A GREAT IDEA!!! I am thinking about making wreaths and giving them for christmas gifts.. thank you for the idea!.. a little time consuming but super easy!!
Sophistique honestly I can’t remember how long I made them but the roll is 6” that is correct. But I think I made them 8” long so when I folded them they were 4”. Sorry, it’s totally to your liking as well.
Thanks for your time yes I have exactly the same tulle now I'm sure the 4 inches help do the right cutting.Have a good evening .London Ontario saying thanks again
don't know if you are aware, but Wal Mart has tulle for $1 a roll right now, including the kind with the glitter. the rolls are 6"x 15' and Hobby Lobby has the 6"x 25' on sale for half off , making it only$1.50 a roll. this is a great project for Halloween, Fall, or Christmas. just use your favorite holiday colors.
+Nancy B. Thank you for the comment and thank you for watching. Sometimes because we are looking at things on the computer it may appear to look like a color that it really isn't. But I did use black and white. The black actually had a shimmer to it.
you are the best young lady I help to decorate our senior center and this website is fabulous to help within reason to buy things to make it look great for the seniors that come to eat here daily THANK YOU
Nika, the wreath is beautiful and you explained how to make so well. I hope to see more of your tutorials on you tube. I don't use Facebook or twitter.
Shelley thank you for watching my videos. Though I am having some family issues right now, I will be returning and doing more tutorials and other videos very soon.
lovely wreath, may I point out that if your background was a lighter color the black would stand out more then the white. But this is a great idea and a lovely wreath. Thank you for the idea.
