Thank you so much!! finally, someone is challenging expensive brands that have made a clever woman roll on money out of the naivety of some people like me. I met a certain lady at the Chelsey Flower Show in London and this person was doing a demonstration, which to be honest was nothing like the demonstrations we get on RU-vid. A person asked if using other products or alternatives to seal chalk paint, this certain lady adamantly stated that not, only the brand wax will work. What a lot of nonsense. Most of the people in the audience knew that statement was not correct. Just wanted to sell their brand at extortionist prices... £25 a tin!!!

Which paint you mix (brown one) with wax? Is it chalk paint? As chalk is water based and wax is oil based. Please reply.
