Mary you whole yard is really beautiful. All the work you and John put into it really shows !! Lavender likes dry spots and doesn't like fertilizer. Laura from Garden Answers cuts hers way back each spring so that it doesn't get too woody. I really like spring clean ups and those pics from last summer are so beautiful !! Don't ever apologize for thinking you look a little ( I thought you looked fine) dirty. You should see me when I'm working outside !! Your videos are always a joy to watch. THANK YOU

It is refreshing to see someone like yourself who loves and appreciates her home and property I have a well on my property that I don't drink from for reasons you shared. Mary, I’m going to lightheartedly scold you and John 😊. Please wear ear protection when running machinery. Leaf blower, electric saw, sander, etc, the decibels are very harmful to your hearing, and if you’ve had hearing loss, it’s even more important to protect the hearing you have left as the loud noises can continue to damage your hearing ❤

Mary, happy first day of Spring! Your boxwoods are looking great in front of your she-shed and the daffodils are such a pop of colour in your garden already. You are fortunate to dispose your raked leaves in the forest behind your house, this way the nutrients go back into the soil. Living in the city we have to bag them for pick up. Perfect choice of music and editing is top notch! Love watching you and John work together, such teamwork. By far the best channel on RU-vid!!

I live in Michigan and it was sooooo cold the last couple of days. I’m surprised how different our weather is. I grow lavender too and have had some success and some failure. Do you know what variety you planted?

Aren’t you a little bit afraid of snakes being in that pond and in those leaves! Working in the yard I’m always on the lookout for critters you always have a beautiful yard and home inside and out, love your videos!

Do you mulch your leaves down to put back on the garden? I collect mine in the autimn and bag them up with a few holes stabbed into the bag and they mulch down really well. Can you use your spring water in your soap making? Can you add fresh or dried herbs in candles or soap?

Can you please share what weed killer you accidentally used on your lawn. I need something for my backyard and front sidewalk. There is not supposed to be any grass growing and I have lots of grass and weeds that I can never completely get rid of.

Just a suggestion, I think I would have put cardboard down be for the compost and other soil, It will kill off all the weeds underneath the cardboard

I love to garden, but right now the weather in Pa. Is not cooperating . We are experiencing wind and large gusts and some, which i hate to say. Snow flurries and cold rain.
