In this edition of of installation videos we have the well known GMC Yukon Denali. A very clean one that could use a bit of upgrading. We are going to add the viper 5305v and the 535t remote window automation controllers.
I try yo make tons of how to or do it yourself car audio and alarm videos. I also have tint videos and hope to give back to the platform youtube has offered me in terms of freely sharing information and knowledge.
All of the audio used in this video is free content music from the youtube library.

nice video! do you think the wires are long enough to reach from a center console position to each window of a 2 door coupe to use one module for both driver and passenger windows? Really love the vent feature of this and living in CA would be a nice compliment to getting some tint for the hot days

Thanks for checking out my channel. On a 2 door you would only need a single 535-t module. The wires are around 10 inches so it’s likely they will need to be lengthened no matter where it gets installed, but if the window switches are in the center console, like a 2023 Bronco, then there might be just enough wiring to reach.

@@WrathCustoms thanks for the reply. Yeah my window switches are in the driver door and passenger door has a switch/power lock so I'd need to lengthen quite a bit then. I'm not very mechanically inclined so may just hold out for the shop to integrate something like this with a remote start, probably Compustar. Would be feat to have this and the 522t automatic trunk solenoid installed to bring my 94 more into the 21st century lol.

Thank you for including the reminder about the Blood of The Lamb on the door post. I'm a struggling Christian who decided to educate myself of windows modules the Sunday afternoon and this message gave me a little but of hope. I definitely found it useful I’m sure I just need one cuz I got a ext cab so only need 2 outputs I’m I right or do I still need 2 just for 2 windows

You can use one 535t to control 2 windows. Up and down. It’s the default off position on dip switch 1

Question... im wiring 2 of these right now in a 95 cadillac deville... if i wire them all to drivers master switch will one touch only work from drivers switches? If yes... if i wire it to each door will all drivers switches have one touch still?

Thanks for watching my video. I think it’s best practice to wire it in the drivers door. Do passengers really need the one touch? The driver switch should act as the main control with all of the convenience features available. It’s just my opinion. Which ever switch is feeding into the white or brown wires will get the one touch functionality.

Will this work all by itself? Without an alarm system installed? Next question - Do the windows go all the way up, and all the way down with just one touch of the door button? Looked like it stopped halfway when you pressed the door button in the video. Thank you!

Thanks for checking out my video. If you didn’t want remote control but only one touch then no alarm system would be needed. Yes the windows all function as one touch (up or down with one tap on the button) from any of the switches. Some vehicles are much easier to install.

So how did you separate to 535T units? Such as did you do one 535 for front windows and one 535 for rear windows or one 535 for right side front and back and one 535 for left side front and back?

On this install I separated the modules to control drivers and passenger sides. So in the vent program the drop opening would be even across both doors. It could be done either way though.

I neeeeeed your help with my install . I have a starter kill relay and my starter kill wire is hooked to it . Can I also hook up the module wire to it so when I lock all windows go up . I only have one for now for the front windows

The short answer is yes, but you should diode isolate since relays have a coil. I would recommend using an alternate trigger for window control like channel 1, or channel 2.

All it takes is 2 DEI 535T module to do all four windows up and down???

How many modules do you need to operate 4 windows in a sedan?

Thanks for watching my video. I hope it was able to help. One 535t can control 2 windows up and down or it can control 4 windows up or down. So for full control of a 4 roll up window vehicle it would need 2 total 535t units. I know they work great but with VOXX acquiring DEI who knows what the future will hold for 535?

Vehicle electrical systems are different based on the Manufacturer. For example if you want to Arm an alarm and have all 4 roll up windows close you only need one 535t.

@@WrathCustoms Gotcha! I have a 2014 Mazda 6 and wanted to control the windows on arming and no arming. Wanted to hit a button on my remote and roll down the windows whenever I want. That would require 2 modules then????

I think they’re universal modules. I have even used one to add remote and one touch control to a drop bed in a custom van.

You can't just get all window wire from the driver master window switch???

On most cars yes. But many cars are using the data or can to communicate with the doors instead of motor control wires. The Delphi era gm vehicles were a departure into this way of communication.
