I'm confused because the one in the video says 5-6r/min but you say to get a 2.5-3rpm. Also wondering how well has the cup turner been?

Mr coop, I know you’ve probably answered this somewhere but I have had trouble attaching the drilled bushing to the motor. I have used gorilla glue and it walked off, any suggestions on how to keep that sucker on there for good.?

Jill - Try a good 2 part epoxy or barge cement ... both can be found at a local big box store

Panel bond it will never come off but it itself is an epoxy

I’m having trouble with my motor slipping. It’s not rotating continuously. It’ll stop until the motor catches up. One of my motors free spins with no resistance when you manually spin it. Does anybody else have this problem?

He says he used his lathe. most of us don't have one, so try this instead: buy a 7/8 forstner drill bit. drill about halfway through a 2x4. that will give you a snug fit for the piece of dowel rod to fit in, and a center spot-hole that you can use to pre-drill open to the final drill size he recommends (9/64 if I remember correctly). once you have that 9/64 hole in one side, and the 7/8 hole in the other, press your dowel rod into the large 7/8 hole you drilled out with the forstner bit. Then from the other side of the 2x4, use that 9/64 hole as a guide and drill down through the dowel rod. The 2x4 should have enough depth to allow you to use it as a guide to keep your 9/64 bit running straight through the dowel rod. Just make sure everything is square before you do your final drilling and keep your drill as straight as possible.

Microwave motors will work an or non workin ice makers that go in your up right refrigerator will also work rotisserie motors will work all basically the same thing
