Making your own face mask is easier than it may seem. In this video, I show you step by step how to make your own mask. I want to say thank you to everyone who is working tirelessly to keep people safe, nurse the sick, and to help us through this crisis.
Here is a website that I found very helpful, and it has a printable pattern.

The skewer method is brilliant. I’ve made over 100 masks and that would have been a helpful trick. Blessings.

This is awesome I have watched a few tutorials on this. I definitely think you have to sew for it to be the best! Some arent sewing and it seems to me they would fall apart and come off! Lol. When you cant buy one it is nice to be able to sew one. Great job and thanks for sharing!😊👍

I didnt have access to proper elastic a month ago, so I used elastic thread for bead bracelets and I used a tapestry needle to thread a double strand through the channels on the sides. Just another idea.

Great job. Do you do any quilting? If not, you should. I think you would be fantastic at it. I hope you had a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. God loves you. God bless. ❤️

My quilting stuff is all in storage until we move to our homestead. I have made a few quilts. Nothing fancy or complicated, just blocks 😉. I would like to get back into it though. Thank you Mary for the encouraging words❤️.

A Slice of Heaven Homestead you are welcome. I will be 58 years old in June and I have only been quilting for about a year and 8 month and I have only made about 6 quilts and a small wall hanging. And all I have done is blocks and I have made one quilt using a jelly roll. I haven’t done anything fancy, but I am very happy with the one’s I have made. I watched A LOT of RU-vid channels to learn what I have learned. I know you will probably be very busy when you finally get to move back to your homestead, but if you do start quilting again and need a questions answered or you just want to join the group, I know a great quilting group on Facebook that you could join. I am a member and they do all sorts of things. You don’t have to be a quilter to join. There are people on there who crochet and other things too I think. So if you want to join it, the name of it is The Creative Crew. All you have to do is answer two questions and that is it. You would be more than welcome to join. I hope you get to start quilting again one day. I bet you are great at it.. I would love to see pics of what you have already done. But I have talked long enough. I am sure you are probably busy so I will say good night to you. God loves you and your sweet family. May God continue to bless you all.

Thank you for that recommendation ❤️. It sounds like you have done a lot in the short time that you have been quilting. Well done on learning a new skill!
