I love the garden hack to save some pollen! I have pollinated many flowers, but never thought about saving some of the pollen for when there are female flowers and not male ones. Great idea!

Om gosh last year I planted pumpkins and had 100's of flowers and they just kept falling off. In the end I only got three pumpkins. I looked up information on line and found out about the male and female flowers. They just weren't in sync. I am not a gardener I just saved my pumpkin seeds from Halloween and planted them for fun. Last week I planted the seeds I got from my three last year pumpkins and the leaves are now beginning to show. Thank you for explaining this now, hopefully, I will get a few more pumpkins this year. I break off the male flower. Pull back the petals, then put the inside of the male flower and rub it inside the female. We get lots of squash.
