We made a huge round cushion for our porch swing, but you can use this cushion as a floor cushion.
We used:
Overlock sewing machine
cardboard, scissors, marker pen and string
measuring tape
Fabric scissors
2 x 150cm x 150 cm x 4 cm (or 1 cm - 3 cm) upholstry padding (150cm x 300cm)
Filling
2 x 140cm x 140cm Panama Fabric(280cm x 140cm)
needle and thread
clips

thank you for this! i gave the cushion that came with my chair to my dog for a new dog bed because it was so thin i could feel the bars beneath and buying a new pillow right now isn't in the budget where i keep finding them for $100+ going to have to give this a try!

Hi Jilly I purchase my fabrics usually from cotton bee. I ordered for this project a fabric called Panama, as it is durable and ideal for cushions. Here’s the link: ctnbee.com/de/digital-stoff-bedrucken-online I also like Spoonflower. I order the cyprus cotton canvas fabric for upholstery and soft finishings. www.spoonflower.com/en/fabric-shop (but this is a more expensive option). Glad you liked the Film😍

Hi Frederick, I used the filling from three 80 x 80 pillows ( as this was the cheapest way to buy the filling).

Thank you for the tutorial. Can i not sew together the batting and just stuff the cover fabric with the two batting circles and stuff them like a sandwich? I tried to sew the batting with my normal machine and it broke like 4 needles.

Yes that’s probably also possible but the filling may move a bit more, or you can try a jeans or a leather needle
