I was literally just thinking earlier today when we might have the blessing of seeing Miss Christa again! God is Good! I think my mother had nearly that same mixer 40 years ago, I wonder if she got it from her mother... I've been hearing good things about raw milk and cream again recently... Perfect timing! And Jeremiah 33:3 is one of my favorites, it reminds of this one from Psalms, how the Lord can meet us in a place and speak to us like No Other!! ‭‭Psalms 42:7-8 Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your breakers and Your waves have passed over me. [8] The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime; And His song will be with me in the night, A prayer to the God of my life.

@@PREPSTEADERS Thank you! I agree! God is the ultimate Poet, He makes all things Beautiful in it's time! (Ecclesiastes 3:11) May you hear and share the Words of the Lord forever, dear Christa! ‭‭John 10:27-28 [27] My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; [28] and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. ‭‭John 12:49 [49] For I did not speak on My own, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. ‭‭John 16:13-14 [13] But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. [14] He will glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you. ‭‭1 Peter 4:11 [11] Whoever speaks is to do so as one who is speaking actual words of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Great video..thanks so much. I fell in love with butter when my first grade teacher brought in the cream in a jar. We all sat in a circle, taking turns shaking that jar until it was butter. She supplied a box of crackers, and all of us were absolutely delighted at this experiment. I bet she never knew just how much that meant to us. Thanks again.

I agree whole heartedly. I grew up on a beef ranch and we did have other animals like chickens, pigs, goats, sheep, and yes milk cows. I churned butter by hand as a kid. As my aunt baked fresh bread my cousins and I took turns churning the butter to put on that fresh bread. I can remember eating warm bread with melting fresh butter and thinking I died and went to heaven!!!

@@PREPSTEADERSyesmam, I do. Raised by folks that were great depression teens/young adults. Share croppers from Walterboro S.C. and Lyons Ga cotton pickers. Think Yulee Fla, 1970s, gardens, plowed by mule, chickens, hogs, beef etc. Hunted, fished, foraged, pressure canned, cane grindings and syrup cooking in St.Marys Ga. Picking MayHaws for jelly, chinquapins for "chinkypin nut bread" etc...fond memories of a good raising, poor folks but we knew how to do and make do. Love your content.Seriously.

I love it. You are just like my wife of 51 years. Anytime something electric has an issue she says it "has a short"! If it was a short sparks would fly and maybe even trip circuit breakers. I would have someone look at the power cord where it goes into the mixer. Probably a broken wire. Have it checked out before it does "Short". I love homemade butter but don't have raw milk available except buying shares in a dairy herd. Too expensive and we can't use a gallon of milk in a week. Thanks for the great video.

I made this minus the salt and put it into a heavy pot and made ghee! I love ghee because the taste is wonderful, it has a high heat point like cooking oil, and since I’m lactose intolerant, it doesn’t have any side-effects on my digestive system because the milk is cooked out! And, it has a long shelf life; no refrigeration needed! Amazing stuff!

@PREPSTEADERS
@PREPSTEADERS 5 месяцев назад
After milking a cow, you can just let the milk settle for a day or two and you'll see all the cream floats to create a thick top layer on the milk. You skim that off and have the perfect cream for whipped cream and butter and all sorts of similar deliciousness. If you don't have a cow, just buy heavy whipping cream at the store and make this butter exactly the same way.
