Today we'll be working with straight skirts.
I’ll make it of the graphite grey jersey fabric. The fabric stretches a bit.
Before buying the jersey fabric, make sure that it doesn’t stretch lengthwise.
I’ll make a skirt with a regular back and a wrap-over on the front.
I’ll show you how to make such skirt fast and easy.
I’ll be using my basic pattern for a straight skirt.
Having a perfect basic pattern, you won't have any problems when making a skirt.
This skirt will remind you of the peg-top design. You should wear such skirts with high heels.
A skirt is a very important detail in a wardrobe. You should not only have the skirts in your wardrobe but also be able to combine them with the other garments.

Omg thank you so much for sharing this video, I can’t wait to make my skirt like that. I have been trying to make one before and I gave up, I couldn’t fit in it’s and the fabric was not stretched either. Been 10 year, and haven’t make one again because I did mine, cutting the pattern and fabric and sew it’s in the machine, and didn’t fit me at all....but now I see how you did it’s before sewing it’s. I love how you made your skirt and by hand first! And them sewing it’s next. Thank you so much. I’ll try again just like you did your way.. thank you💕💕💕

I am in love with this skirt but when I tried to save this tutorial I get a response that the site is no longer available. Can anyone help? Also, how do you finish the curved section on the front and how wide is the hem allowance? Great thanks. What a treat to learn from an obviously professional pattern designer.

I believe she was referring to an upturned hem in the back, and I think a small facing for the curved edges of the front. You could possibly use self fabric bias tape if the fabric is not bulky.

Beautiful skirt...how do you finish the top edge of skirt, at the waist? Did you actually line the back, as you said at the end of the video? Did you insert a zip at the back?
