What a great idea! Wrap skirts usually open up in front in the most inappropriate way on me. The mock wrap skirt is a much better idea. Way to go Aya!!!

wow this is so helpful! I bought a sewing pattern for a skirt like that but it doesn't really explain how to sew together all the pieces and I was so confused! but your skirt is very similar (mine won't have a zipper but buttons) so now I know how to start sewing it!!

What other types of fabric would you recomend for making this skirt? Do you think if I make itwith silk I would have a good result? Thank you for the video, it was very useful :)
