DIY How To Remove & Clean Most Samsung Microwave Dirty Air Filter! 

I came here for a tip on how to clean my filter. I ended up taking my whole microwave apart to clean it all. lol. Thanks.

My GE microwave from 2005 finally crapped out. At first ru-vid.comUgkxO_Bc204MGjxDl87cOKcdgaRhzSqGmv_g I was unsure because I was looking for something with the exact same features. Found it with this one. Interior space cavity was large, but the outside was smaller than my old one. I love the one-button push for 1-6 minutes, and the 30 second add or 30 second start. and MOST IMPORTANTLY, I love how you can adjust the power level during cooking. The reviews said it could not be done, but this marked all the other boxes. and happy to say, it does. I can hit 1 minute start, and change the power level from 10 to 5, 30 seconds in, without interruption. my favorite feature!

That’s what we’re supposed to do when the “filter” message is displayed? That a lot more involved than anticipated. I’d just pull out and wash the easily removable bottom filter and be done with it. Thanks McDaddyPimping. U Da Boss G!

I suggest you to wash the filter well (it is reusable), but throw away the oven and cabinet too!

Please note that charcoal filters should NEVER be cleaned and reused. You will need to purchase a new one each time you need to replace the charcoal filter.

Thanks for showing the location of the hidden screw! I removed the bottom one and the left side one but didn't know about the hidden one inside. Now I should be able to get it apart to figure out why it won't turn off when it is plugged in. Never ever ever buy Samsung appliances. Just look at how many videos there are of people trying to fix their Samsung microwaves on RU-vid. Samsung appliance garbage!

My Samsung microwave is less than a year old. I bought it brand new. I opened it today to clean the charcoal filter. Saw that it HAD NO CHARCOAL FILTER IN IT. Also noticed a screw missing on the inside top right assembly, which caused it to be floppy there. Man, you think when it comes from the factory it would be perfect. Nope nope nope. I actually work with Chinese factories for my job, and I think very highly of their processes and work. So seeing this made me so disheartened. Even the chinese (who are all about quality) are now saying 'screw it'. Makes me want to open up every single new appliance I buy.

Jeez, all that dirt and grime actually made me throw up in my mouth a little. I would’ve got my pressure washer out for that cleaning!
