Thanks for sharing. I've changed mine today. A M8 bolt fits the cam hole nicely and M5 fits fuel pump and crank for locking purposes. Like you I also marked with Tippex just in case. Was a bit worried about your method for undoing crank bolt, but it worked and I still have all my fingers/limbs. Citroen service manual says belt should be changed every 100,000 miles. Random info online says 150,000.
Cristian Klein well, I don’t know what to say, apart from that it wasn’t difficult, and it’s 50 k since it did the job. If you have the tools just do it.
Alrighty. I just lost my "timing belt" virginity. The job was pretty complex and scary. I thought I could avoid having the engine "hanging in the air". Aaaaa! 😁 Anyway, I did it, the engine works and I feel more empowered than ever. The video was invaluable. If you or the video poster ever come to south of Sweden, please allow me to invite you to a drink.
Guddu Pappu i hve seen lot of videos in my life like this. but this is amazing and camera fitting and setting is top class. no comments. U looking producer of a film. keep it up and do more videos like this.
I have covered 110,000 km from the factory and I’m already thinking about replacing the belt, what should be the mileage before replacing the belt..??🤔
according to peugeot manual 100,000 miles or 10 years what ever comes first. I changed mine after 110,000 miles. Once you replace the Original one then you need to replace every 60,000 miles
Hello, can you say to me, which gear of the transmission must be in during the Change of the Timing belt? Automatic? Neutral or D? Manual? neutral or 1-5? Thank you.
Hi the mechanic replaced my car timing now the car has vibration I went back to the mechanic he is saying it is not from engine but I am 100 percent sure it is from engine I don't know what should I do need help
Hi, I can guess may be during the work machanic accidentally scratched the crankshaft sprocket (magnetic strip on the sprocket) that can cause the vibration
