Just a recommendation for future videos, it would help a lot more to show the best camera angles of each step and to also talk about each step as you are going through them rather than just adding music. Regardless, this video still provides some knowledge about the replacement of a head gasket, but it could be better.
@@marlontorres7588 @Cooper Bryant Incase you haven’t heard, there’s a thing called constructive criticism. Nothing I said was false or rude. As a matter of fact the creator acknowledged my comment. The only purpose of my comment was to give tips to help the viewers understand what it is he’s doing every step.
The point of this video is to illustrate how easy it is to replace a head gasket on these four cylinder Camry's; many cars it takes and insane amount of complicated labor to replace a head gasket. He did not go into details, because you just watched the easiest HG replacement there is.
Never take the bolt out like this guy or tighten them like him keep them in order if you no big woop if you can’t but definitely start at the center and crisscross your way out when tightening because if not can cause uneven wear on the gasket
So is this all you need if your camry keeps overheating? I've bought a new radiator, catalytic converter, spark plugs and thermostat and still getting the same problems. He's finally going to install the head gasket next week.
No timing belt. it is a chain 2:59. you will need to remove the front cover there is more work to do to get the front cover off and on, and set the timing.
In general, how much would it cost to replace the head gasket, and I also have coolant dripping somewhere from the bottom when I fill it. It still turns on. Can you suggest me what to do? Thanks
as long as you disconnect the power or ground cable from the battery, your good. The fuses get power from the battery so with the cable removed, the fuses have no power running through them
I over heated my 2005 Camry . And know exhausted pressure is coming out the radiator. If I change the head gasket an resurface the head will it help my problem
Overheated engine is not recommended to change the head gastet if it melt plastic cover you need an other engine that one is not good idea try to rebuild it because the treads on the engine block will strip wnen you try to torque it
Skipped over a lot of the process of cylinder hwad removal. Intake manifold, timing, vacuum hoses, coolant hoses and more. This is just a short I removed this part but dont show or explain anything or show anything...
