Thank you for great video my 14 escape lighter will stay on even when key off and my dash cam will stay running constantly and thanks to your video now I no how fix that problem

Question. The side that has power is negative? Unless I misunderstood you, you said left side is negative which is the side that read 12. Please clarify, I’m about to do this later today. Ty

For info, I think he means output side, not negative. The entire fuse box is positive.

you say right side is positive, but also say you need to connect it to negative, then connected to the right side. Confusing as hell lol.

So we’re deleting the fuse from the port closest to you and making a jumper to connect that positive to the other side? I’m confused…

what cable did you use to connect the two?

Bro said this pin is positive this pin is negative!! please do not take his advice if he doesn’t even know basic automotive electrical. if that were true the second you plug that fuse it would complete the circuit and it would blow that fuse. one side connects to the battery the other side connects to the load! one other nitpick is, it’s not 12 V it’s “battery voltage”. The meter clearly read more than 12 V
