If your like me and you want to create different sizes of tubs, but don't know how. Then this video will be helpful. I will show you my method for making them easily. You will have a pattern or patterns in the end to make as many as you like.

Supplies:
cardstock
Elmers Glue All or glue of your choice
compass or circular things from around your home
copy paper
paints of your choice
crochet thread or any thick thread you may have on hand
You can use food packaging or light chip board for base, but I wouldnt suggest using it on the sides.

I really love that you show how to work out the patterns if you aren't a math whizz like me lol! I just could never get my head around math, its what stopped me doing chemistry and physics as biology was the extent of my scientific know how, due to the math blindness. I tried, because of biochem, but it wasn't to be, although I do still try when I do little online courses to keep my biology knowledge current. In all the decades since school, that 'Eureka' moment never came insofar as math and my brain lol!

@@AnneAndersonFoxiepaws You are welcome! I kind of know how you feel about your chemistry and physics. Except for me I wanted to be an oceanographer but unfortunately a childhood event has frightened me of water forever. So that never came to be for me. I have been terrible at math my whole life. I always knew enough to get by. I had a small “Eureka “ moment recently when I figured out how to read a ruler. 😆 And another big “ Eureka “ moment while watching Ara from Bentley House Minis explain how to calculate scale. Do you use your biology knowledge at work? Or do you just enjoy it like a hobby?

@@IDreamInMini Actually I loved and made miniatures since childhood. Took a lot of breaks from it, but always came back. Then started out scrapbooking and it turned to junk journaling. You are right though, same supplies and tools for both. I have a passion for paper and cardboard. Maybe it’s the paper. 😆

@Lauras-tinyview I was actually introduced to miniatures about 30 years ago by my moms friend. I loved it and did it briefly, but stopped when life got in the way. So I'm happy to have picked it up again recently and I'm pretty sure I'll be making minis for as long as I live lol! I love that you can work with so many different mediums and there's no limit to what kinds of things/themes you can make. I can't see it ever getting boring 🤣

Hi Laura, thank you so much for this video. I need to make a hip bath so I gather I would just extend the height where you would rest your back if you were sitting in it. I’ll give it a go and keep persevering. If I don’t get it the first time I will try, try again (isn’t that what they say). And if it doesn’t work out I will just have to bite the bullet and buy one. It’s not expensive but when you add postage it gets a little pricey.Thank you for sharing. @@suec.5840 I’m so happy I inspired you to give it a try! 😊 I used one layer for the sides. The base I made with several layers so there was more surface to glue the sides onto.
