Thats amazing ur reusing and recycling, but also dont reuse often plastics especially if putting in the dishwasher the heat releases chemicals from the plastic

I'm in love with cold brew coffee. It's perfect for spring & summer. I use agave syrup, cold brew medium or dark coffee, then mix some vanilla almond milk. For fall & winter I like hot coffee. So I use coconut sugar, medium or dark roast brewed coffee, and vanilla almond milk. It's heaven ❤☕😍

Yum. I’m that person that doesn’t let sit over night and that’s because I don’t own a presser 😝 I add a pitch of pink himalayan salt in my coffee. Hot or cold, somehow it enhances the flavor.

Sold! Wife has been buying Starbucks iced coffee brew, like 5 bux a half gallon... we mix that with torinis and half and half. I said to her.....why don't we just refrigerate our left over coffee and use that? And. ..... well here we are lol. Glad to know i don't have to buy those anymore!

I use a french vanilla or caramel vanilka k-cup. Before i stick my drinking cup under the keurig i put caramel around the inside of the cup. After the coffee is made i add coffee mate french vanilla. Stick it in the freezer for 2 or 3 hours and its done. Tastes like the McDonald's caramel iced coffee 😁

Try adding a dash of cool water to the coffee at the bottom of the press and swirl until completely soaked, then put the boiling water in. Should avoid putting boiling water directly on to the bean as they will burn slightly.

4 table spoons mid ground coffee in French press. Leave in fridge for 10 hours then poor over milk and or ice and enjoy

This will save you two a lot of money, won’t it! And the convenience of not having to drive there and go stand in line to wait for it, is the best reason to do it at home. Looks awesome!

I don't know why but I always mess up my iced coffee and it is so strong and gross. I just made myself a cup (I also keep cups because I hate that they aren't recycled!) like this and it is so good! Now I won't have to wait for my husband to make me a good cup. Thank you for sharing!

Hey! I love how you reuse those cups. We also do that. We use it for a good while and then we slowly throw them away. Saves us a ton of time!

There is more of a caffeine concentrate in a light roast...in a light roast the coffee bean get caffeine cooked out of them...sooo...dark roast has less caffeine. if u want a bold flavor with less caffeine do a dark roast!

I do the same! I make it in my French press ahead of time. I do use the almond milk caramel creamer as my dairy and sweetener.

This is perfect, thank you! Fun fact that's actually not fun though lol: repetitively heating and reusing disposable plastic cups or water bottles too much can cause the chemicals in the cheap plastic to break down and leach into your drink. When I learned that, I stopped reusing them for drinks and just ended up using them for propagating plants.

I have that exact French press. Lol also I made super strong coffee & made ice with them, so I don't water the ice coffee down with normal ice cubes. (Side note, I reuse plastic cups like that for growing plants when I get too many cups. Lol)

I do it the same way but for coffee I use instant Nescafé medium roast and while the coffee is still hot I put some sugar or honey. Try it with Nescafé it tastes so good! And I use half and half, creamer and ice. 😊😋

Since I’ve been pregnant this is my second pregnancy and I’m still only 9 months postpartum, I still can’t drink coffee at home and I can rarely like the coffee at Starbucks now but occasionally they make it good. I loved my French press and still love the smell of it freshly made but I can’t stomach it it makes me so sad and moody all the time.

I love to save and reuse the cups as well and it bugs my fiancé so much 😅😭

Great video, great information about lighter roast having more caffeine most people think the darker roast had more caffeine.

I would recommend to pour some coffee into a ice cube tray and freeze instead of using plain ice that way it doesn't get watered down

Blend some ice cubes with your sugar and creamer pour it into a cup and make your coffee pour it over the blended ice it won’t melt the ice and taste great . Don’t blend the ice to long about 5 sec is perfect . Idk how the coffee don’t instantly melt the ice but it won’t even melt it a bit . Guess the sugar and ice blended does something

I just bought a French press because my Starbucks trips were costing me too much money and too many empty calories haha im so glad I found someone just like me who reuses all their Starbucks cups..I also reuse my Dunkin Donuts cups. Sometimes when I open my cabinet and see all my cups I start counting them and adding the cost of each cup and my mind is blown of how much I have wasted on coffee 🤯 lol thank you for this! Definitely going to try!

Hi, Rachelle :) I'm a fellow coffeeholic. I'm not on a keto regimen but I am careful about not gaining excess tonnage. The sweetener I use is monk fruit crystals... A little more costly but more natural than the chemicalized stuff. I'm really glad I found this video because I'm legally blind and I need vocal descriptions. I tried several others but they all had music and small text, which is a real problem for me. Thanks again... Keep doing what you do :)

I freeze left over coffe in ice cube trays. Keeps your iced coffee cold, without watering it down.

And my bf thought me reusing Starbucks cups was too much lol. I also have the reusable $3 one. I love Torani caramel, vanilla, irish cream, and cinnamon 💜💜

Ground coffee can mix with anything you like . Sometime I use avocado as a creamy flavour to mix coffee. It’s taste so good.

You can freeze extra coffee to use as ice cubes so your coffee doesn't get watered down.

I MAKE MY ICE COFFEE WITH K-CUP AND COFFEE MAKER I USE MCDONALDS CUPS AND PUT CHOCOLATE SYRUP ABOUT THREE TABLE SPOONS ,ONE CUP MILK AND COFFEE AND ICE .

My fave is Starbucks Veranda blend! (Blonde roast) ❤☕ It's funny that you mention the roast thing bc many people think that a darker roast = more caffeine, which would make sense bc of the strong taste, but ironically not the case! 😆

If your going to wait overnight just use room temperature water and in the morning you’ll have cold brew

I usually brew a pot of coffee and let it cool then pour it into ice cube trays to make ice cubes out of coffee. That way when your cubes melt it’s coffee melting into your iced coffee and not water watering it down.

I do the same with the plastic cups. Also with dunkin cups. Wash and reuse.

Great video! I heard that you shouldn’t reuse the plastic if it is not designed to be reused, since certain types of plastic may be ok to be used once, but will be harmful if you use it multiple times. I don’t know if it’s true

Thanks for this video! I also sometimes like to throw a little scoop of cocoa powder in with my grounds while brewing. Or some cinnamon. I wonder if some cocoa powder with a pinch of cayenne would be good in coffee. I'll have to try that sometime.

I was reading online that when you leave coffee overnight it oxidizes . Does it taste funny ? I have been making my first thing when i get up and throw it in the freezer while I'm getting ready and this seems so much easier

I have 2 Starbucks cups that I have been reusing for all my water drinks water and all other non alcoholic beverages.

Pro tip. Pour coffee into ice cube trays and freeze them in your freezer to later use in your coffee then your coffee won’t get watered down… same thing for juice, etc 😏

I like using the instant than leave it in the fridge over night add Ice and favorite creamer and I’m ready to Tackle the day

Monin is another brand of flavorings, both regular and sugar free. And because I’m lazy and want my coffee right now, I use their coffee concentrate. If I’m making a peppermint mocha, which is currently my favorite, I use chocolate almond milk, and chocolate peppermint creamer. Delicious! Unfortunately my creamer is almost gone, and it’s a seasonal flavor..I’ll go back to salted Carmel I guess.

Does Torani syrups come with the pump or did you buy that separate?
