When I was a kid in the 70s, my dad made a pool for us using a stock tank! He lined it with black plastic to absorb the heat of the sun so the water wasn’t so cold. Loved this video!

You and your hubby did an Awesome Job! And in no way do I want you to think I’m disrespectful. It’s just a suggestion. I want to see everyone succeed. FYI always for outdoor wood projects, buy pre-treated wood, then measure & cut. (Unless you have uneven foundation ) but Sand them down a little bit, and stain and seal wood slates. This way when you put in the wooden slates they won’t warp later. For example where you live (obviously it rains right?! ) so you stained your wood after putting them in the posts. …. So the ends of the wood, that is in the rail of the post, isn’t protected. And that part is the important part, cuz that’s where you put the screw in to hold it in place. Hope to see more of what you are doing in your backyard. God bless!

Also to add to her amazing video, we can do with either 11 panel (or)12 panels....its upto you. If you have a slanting deck, mostly it will be 11 panels. 2. Do not cut the deck boards in home depot and cut it by yourselves, as we had the same issue as she explained. 3. It should slide easily, if not posrs are pushed away lol 4. You can also do without the spacers, but not sure about the safety as i heard wind passes through the space and helps for stability.....

This was helpful. Most privacy fences are upwards in the thousands. I had a quote done and the privacy screen was 4K. This is a great solution to consider. Thank you!!

Hey, Just wondering. . . If you installed the privacy fence to separate the neighbors that you love but left the other side open, will the loving neighbors not be offended? Are you planning to install a second privacy wall? Not to be critical but curious. Love that you were able to accomplish this project in one day- wow! Impressive! The view of water is breathtaking, too.

I’d LOVE to do this! I have two neighboring homes on either side of me and on one side, I have WONDERFUL neighbors! I actually love😍 my neighbors on the one side (like for real love them). The only thing is, they have an above-ground pool and it’s positioned right up agains my fence so when they are standing on their deck, my back yard has 0 privacy. I’m fine with it but my family and visitors aren’t so much, so, I’m looking for something that will at least give us privacy while we are sitting outside on at least one area of my patio and I think this would help a lot! Only thing is, my patio isn’t square or rectangular, it’s curvy so I’m not sure this will work and still give us enough room to so we don’t feel like we’re too close up to the house! My deck isn’t a large one so avoiding the curved area and bringing the two panels in enough to install them in a straight line…I just don’t think it will work.🤔 I’m gonna do a mock up and sorta feel it out though. But thanks for the great video all the same!😊

With a curvy patio it would be tricky. But just map it out to see it you can position the wall away from the curve without loosing too much space
