Dude, super excited to build the DLT19... Just cut out the templates and did all the shopping at Home Depot... Ill post pics this weekend... This is going to be fun
Very cool video. I would love to sit down with tools and make every blaster and lightsaber on here. But I can't. Having these props would be very useful for my upcoming films...
Does that look like a cut down mosin nagant to anyone else, the original that is... *Edit*--- looks like the original was an Enfield that was cut down.
Thanks so much +HappyTrooper for your DIY instruction. It made my experience at this year's SDCC a blast! Here's a link to my final result. photos.app.goo.gl/1oLrRCbWFUUVgbhA8
Hey trooper, I recommend specific hilts? I've watched all your tutorials and made all except the blaster which I am working on right now. Maybe a return of the Jedi sky walker hilt? Maybe krennics pistol or Rey's weapon? Anyways love the videos keep it up!
Sorry about that. I live in the US, we use Imperial units for measurement...I HATE it. I have been trying to use the metric system, it is much easier. Obviously, I still have some studying to do :-) Thank you for watching, I promise I'll get better at the metric system.
Excellent, hope you enjoyed the build! If you have any pics, please send me a link, or you can hit me up on the "contact" form on happytrooper.com If you approve, I'd like to put them on my blog and credit them to you. Thank you for watching, and for the vote of confidence. Uttini!
Great video. You can re-coat with that spray paint within 20 minutes. 24 hour drying isn't required between coats unless you're using different brands of paint.
Thanks for the inspiration. Building a Jawa ion blaster, but not your design. Got an airsoft gun and cut the barrel. Got a nerf Mag and cut that too. Filled the screw holes with wood plastic. Off to purchase suggested PVC parts and corner braces. Is there anyway I can show you it when I am done?
Awesome engineering! I'm glad you were able to improve on the design. Can you hit me up on happytrooper.com and use the contact form? We can take it offline and communicate over email, and then with your permission, I'd love to post your pics on my blog with credit to you.
@@HappyTrooperDotCom yes that be great. Right now it is in primer. Also working on the greed blaster. Can't afford 3d printed parts so I am using gribblies from around the house.
The template link isn't working. I get this message when I click on the link above: goo.gl/6teOch - this goo.gl shortlink has been disabled. It was found to be violating our Terms of Service
Hello, thank you for watching. This was a track purchased on AudioJungle called "Epic Hybrid Trailer" composed by simonstevens. It can be found here: goo.gl/gAMO0h
While it was nice tutorial the templates are no longer reachable and so cannot follow this as it shows any more. Needs to either have the poster put the templates back up available where they will remain as long as video is up or take video down as no longer relevant. I hope they put the templates back up again.
I made them by hand. I used monk's cloth from JoAnn Fabrics, dyed it brown, cut it out and used a sewing machine. There are templates for the robes and hood on kraytclan.com The mask is a 1$ Jason hockey mask from Walmart, spray painted black, and covered with speaker cloth (also from Joann Fabrics). The eyes are underwater tea lights from Michaels Craft Store with yellow butterscotch wrappers inside to diffuse the light. They just clip on to the mask's eye holes.
Yes, I know that I've been away for a while...I was busy building a full-size R2 unit. I'm planning some new material now that R2 is finished. R2 is looking forward to being in some new videos :)
Hey Blaze, good catch, I forgot to put that in the parts list. I have updated it with the link. I purchased a pop-up ball rod assembly from Home Depot, this is what I used: goo.gl/nm6FB6 Thank you for watching.
Thank you for watching and for the kind words. As you can see, I am partial to Star Wars...it is my passion and a nice escape. With that said, I would consider others...do you have any good ideas? What would you like to see?
To be fairly honest I was just curious to know. Keep up the good work and regarding the last two questions, just keep doing what you are doing and that is what I would like to see. :)
I have been in contact with him, he mentioned he would sell them. Unfortunately, at this time, I do not offer any props for sale. While I haven't seen the products on eBay, I do know that the gentleman that is selling the items did indeed follow the templates and procedures. We went over many of them together via email :)
