That kid is gonna be one hell of a fabricator one day...."SO how old are you"...."im 18"...."Ha Ha Ha, how many years of experience do you have then"....." Ha Ha Hell I have 18 years of experience"....." Well then, You are Ha Ha Hired"
In a fabricator and have built a lot of steel and aluminum boats. You never make long continuous welds like that in anything and especially thin sheet metal. You'll warp the hell out of it.
Are you building a stubby?? Wish you would describe the kit and the weight of the materials. No description or mention of what came in the kit and what it cost.
I just bought a 92 cherokee sport. It's a 2 door 5 speed manual which I've been told is rare and hard to find. I'm so excited to upgrade it and make it how I want it. Your videos have really inspired me. You've got my likes and subscribe 🤘
I ended up getting this kit after this, and a few other videos. One problem I had, is that I was sometimes getting gaps where my seams should have been because of the little tabs holding the parts together. I am planning on getting the rear bumper, but was considering cutting the tabs off and just tacking everything in place instead of doing the bends, and I would like to know your thoughts.
I’ve been pretty stuck on either buying a bumper or building and I think after watching this I’m just going to get the kit and build it myself. Great vid bud
Nice video I had a JCR bumper that was on my old jeep with had been flipped 6 times and took the bumper and the JCR tie-in brackets clean outta the frame, I'mma try and use this kit to rebuild the JCR bumper if even possible. Question tho, are you just using regular flux core welding wire or do you run gas.
Great video, nice work. Can I get the drawings of this work with the sizes so that I can do it for my car xj, as I am from Egypt, I would be grateful if you send me the drawing, thank you very much
Except you need to add in the cost of welding wire electricity primer paint and your hours of doing it equals out to just buying a bumper but a nice little welding project
So all in all I’d say I’m about $250 into it not including time. Can’t factor in time because I have more time than money and even cheap bumpers go for $400 or more for the xjs
What kit did u git?? No views of parts or anything. Just said ya git a kit and started bending. We can't know what you have to work with?? You're supposed to be sharing info. What you have and what came in the kit... .source price no show and tell.that'd why it's called a video. See ya. Gonna go watch bleepin.
