@@devanarayanan1243 jet engine fans run on pressurized air being sucked into the turbine which powers the moving parts of a turbojet engine, not electricity
jet engines are fueled by combustible fuel rather than electricity and depends not mainly from the fans but from the pressurized hot gas produced from the fuel, this is just a regular fan that could maybe be used for rc plane if the propellers are a bit larger
Tip: if you sand the fan disc after cut it you gonna improve the airflow 😉 And since you ain’t recovering any exhaust gases you don’t need a turbine rotor disc
After getting used to channels that use 3D printing, laser cutters, and CNC. It's amazing to see a well done craftsmanship, accomplish just by domestic tools.
Pretty sure the fans in jet engines are powered by hot compressed air going through the turbines, if you use electric motors in it the electric motors would probably break from the intense heat and pressurized air
Do not use contraceptives as they are abortifacient. When they fail in their primary function to prevent side effect ovulation, they also prevent the implantation of the already fertilized embryo in the womb causing a hidden miscarriage. Research for HLI organization.
its just a double-fan. well, i'm not a fan of negative comments. so i'm just giving a constructive one. only thing that needs to be changed is the title. an impressive concept anyway. there's still room for improvements for this one.
OK... this is a Fan. Not a "Jet-Turbine." The same person here did make another video of a "jet engine" that people said wasn’t a ‘Jet’ because the Compressor was turned by an electric motor. Well... That IS a "Jet." It is a MOTOR-Jet, rather than being a "Jet-Turbine," which is a Compressor (Jet) which uses a Turbine to capture the "Jet Thrust" produces by the compressor and fuel burning, to turn the compressor. The Motor-Jet uses a motor to turn the Compressor, which creates a ‘Jet.’ But THIS THING is NOT a "Jet-Turbine." It is neither Jet, nor Turbine. It is a "Fan."
Don't know why you are getting so much shade in the comments, thought that was very useful information, if say one was to build an electric turbo prop or contra- rotating blades for an r/c model. I enjoyed watching it....Keep on Keeping On!
no, the Bigger fan is just creating turbulence for the second one. It would be much more efficient if he just used a single motor and the bigger fan alone 😂
Thread the other end of the spoke M2 and you can put a nut on both ends. Very good motor cheers. When installed it can be described as a jet engine but better described as a Ducted Fan.
A jet engine works by burning fuel in air to release hot exhaust gas. But where a carengine uses the explosions of exhaust to push its pistons, a jet engine forces the gas past the blades of a windmill-like spinning wheel (a turbine), making it rotate
Too many overliked "geniuses" here telling us the obvious. Whatever. I do appreciate the fact that this assemble still may work to move something forward while somehow resembling the sound of a turbine. I think it's cool... both ways.
it depends... of you use a low kW motor with a high kv prop it won't make more and also you have to think that you still need a battery which can handle the power factor of the motor... so about +9$, then you also need a Brussels ESC... again about +4$ and then also a way to control it... for example an Arduino --> in this case +4$ for the board and +? for the programming. or just use a Servo tester for about +4$. so in conclusion about 22$... or just buy all of these in a pack of about 10$.
@@nanonatronaviation6007 yes people like this really don't think about making project like this for real but they are really good at finding false mistakes.
Your videos are so useful to design certain toys for children to learn about. I am fascinated by your thinking. Keep it up and post such videos. One thing I want to know from you is why you have changed the brush position in the motor. How many motors requires that type of changes. Anyway your presentation inspires me. Kudos.
Tried making a fan with the same design(though using flattened soda caps)...and i don't think it produces enough air for a jet turbine...and also think it is not suitable since it produces to much vibration
Can I "reverse engineer" it to make the turbine generate electricity? Exosing it to wind for example? How would that look like? You definitely want to avoid for the stored energy to fuel the turbine (again). Id appreciate any help, Im a fullblown noob in this field.
If you want to generate electricity just use a windmill, you need to make it huge for it to be effective, and the turbine in a jet engine is powered by hot air not electricity if you try to do that the motor would probably melt from the intense heat
this is cool but, where did you buy the material? how much did it cost all together? If i wanted to make something bigger than that would it be possible?
Wow my friend that's quite good work mate !!- what will you be using it for ? I believe you just may be able to help me with a little conundrum I'm experiencing currently... I'm making another forge/kiln/smelting furnace/and annealing chamber since my less experienced good friend burned my entire garage (or very nearly so at any point of fact...) while I allowed him use of it to make a gold rose for his girlfriend for Valentine's Day 3 years ago now it's been. Anyway I scrapped an engine from an old furnace which still is functional. I wish to incorporate it's use 3 fold: (A) billows/forced air - though NOT at pressure (B) blowing air into above vent hood that's positioned above the forge proper (C) regulation of air flow to both furnace, and vent hood, ultimately then next creation of some type of system I could use to also evacuate air in a covered vent hood/chamber with which I am using dangerous toxins(corrosive fumes = DEATH !! I'm building this from 1/4 temper glass. Do you think I'm trying to get too much from one thing? I'll tell you that the engine is a brute !! 12 HP 12 amp 120 volts. Your advice would be highly valued
He don't mod the motor coil to speed up, however he use three motors and gear (nice, I though). Then he setting up a gear as a reduction speed 1/5.... 👍
it can be a plasma jet if they produce afterburning effect, thus jet have a ductile housing with the exlusive air burners even electric plasma jets can conforms air burning, as those no air burning with a ductile housing and that is a ductile fans mostly fit for blimpse 🤔
