Thanks for this piece but when one does not use a band how is the extra ease added to the block? Heard yo mentioned slashing open the hip line, cant it be added directly at the waistline of the trouser block? Will that affect the fit? Thanks for the anticipated response

Thank you for the tutorials Mercy! Please why does my neckline and armhole roll over and out, revealing the inner lining at topstitch line when I make strapless necklines despite topstitching it to the lining to keep it in place?

Cutting off half inch on the lining can help reduce the lining from sticking out after top stitching

Did you use your true waistline here or the nape to waist line? Also, please when joining your dress at the waistline that has a tightening (princess dart or burstier), which am I meant to use? The true waistline or the nape yo waist line that extends to the front?. Please I’d appreciate a response. Thank you 🙏

I used I my true waistline… the slightly curve waistline is always the true waistline, even with shaped bodice too

Yes I added 4 inches.. and sewed 1 inch on the side seam( 1 inch on the side of the front and 1 inch on side back =2”) Then 1 inch on the inside leg of the front piece and 1 inch on the inside leg of the back piece . That’s 4 inches total .

Same rule still applies. My band was serving as the ease along the crotch. Even if you don’t need a band.. still add the extra for ease. I.e crotch depth with 1-1.5” added for ease. I hope this helps

No I did not. I only added a little interface along the zip allowance on the pants.

I have a question you added 4 inches for allowance and when you were sewing you used 2inches ,1 on both sides to join, was the remaining 2 inches for ease 🙏🙏.

Ease is needed when using separate blocks to create( bodice block and pants block) the jumpsuit

In the video, I said 14, 16, and 18” based on how loosely you want the thigh to fit. 14 being the loosest . I hope this helps .
