Good evening thank you so much for this tutorial God bless and happy new month please a quick question if I am using Dartless block for this to do my slash and spread method do I just do same thing u did at the back since is Dartless block

You’re welcome ! If you already have a dartless block, the only thing you need to skip is taking out the darts on the block. Every other steps still applies ( also can you give a time stamp of the ‘thing at the back you’re referring to) so I can best respond

I tried this as a skirt using pleated materials but the pleated did not come out slant as wanted 😢

Thank you. I used a safety pin on the strings and basically inserted it through the little gap I left after attaching the Bias.

It’s basically just cutting along the slash line and adding fullness in between the lines( slash and spread) to however width you like, I added about 2” in between each slash line. I hope this helps
