I can not thank you enough for this video. Mine worked right away after a soft reset. I was so worried that this will require the radio to be replaced and cost an arm and a leg.
thank you - this helped me in less than 1 minute after being without radio for almost 2 days seemingly out of nowhere. there is nothing in the manuals in the glovebox to address this problem (nothing that I could find anyway). next time - I will refer here first before flipping through pages endlessly. Well, damn man. I normally never comment on RU-vid videos but this legitimately saved my Uvo system! I pressed the reset button (right side under "SETUP" for 2014 Kia Soul) and it booted up in a minute! Awesome information, thank you!
I went to the Kia Dealership yesterday for the no volume problem with my 2012 Kia Sportage and was charged $110.00 for the diagnostic assessment of my radio .I was told they made every check possible and found nothing wrong with my speakers, etc. Told me that I needed a new radio and they could install it for $490.00 or I could take it to a car audio place and get it done cheaper because my car is 8 years old. I asked if Kia had a recall on the radio and was told "No." Well after seeing all of these comments and the number of views associated with the radios I have to disagree with Kia. We should all file some sort of Class Action Lawsuit against Kia especially those who have paid for replacement radios because Kia is hiding something from us in my opinion. SMH. i haven't listened to my radio, or been able to play my personal music, or used my hands free phone in about 2 months now. This should NOT be happening.
Yes we should have a better one for that reason but they don't want us to know what about it and we should have free radio from them since they are not talking about it or we can go and file a report for them to get a free replacement for it
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!! I was on the road for an hour when my radio went out so I used my phone to Google the situation and it showed your video so I checked it and I did the reset button and poof it started working again I had a 10 hour drive ahead of me and couldn't use my phone. I needed the navigation system 4 directions and the camera to take photos for work plus I was in No Man's Land so service was patchy. Again THANK YOU !!!
Been having connectivity issues with my sportage, it seems like that tiny button reset woke it up so that it would finally pair sound. Bluetooth kept connecting, but it would never switch to my phone to play sound, so thanks for these tips! Much more helpful than all these other videos that just say "Disconnect and reconnect and that's all there is to it!"
I connected the battery in the wrong terminal that blue three fuses for me the electronic power steering then the 15 amp audio fuse and the 25 amp amplifier fuse after replacing all these three everything is working fine. Thanks for this amazing video.

I really like the way you explained,what to do when no sound coming from speakers . I have 2013 Kia Optima . I turned off my car and stared it no sound is coming. I tried resetting the little reset button but still ,no sound. I will try to check my radio fuse, I hope it works.
+Sukh Garcha Thanks for your reply. Ive tried to compile all the ways of reseting the kia radio for no sound since it was time consuming. In my case the radio was bad. Since it costs a $140 bucks for a referbished kia jukebox radio online. I decided to take the chance and replaced it and I got lucky. Replacing it worked for me. The used radio worked and didn't have to be programmed by the dealer. From my research it costs 100 bucks for the dealer just to look at it. My backup camera also works now with the replacement radio. Thanks for watching
None of these worked for me. Can u show how to check the amps connection in the trunk. Can't afford $300 for a new radio. Got a long drive coming up. Need my radio help!!!
