Just so you know, the gorget actually goes underneath your midcoat (the modified wool coat in your case) And while they did use a toggle or hook/eye to close it, many just use an invisible zipper, because they arent actually visible., much like your surcoat. But that being said for what you made do with this came out pretty damn good, dude! And your sleeves look KILLER! It seems like a lot of people really arent able to nail 1) pleated 2) thumb length AND 3) fitted the whole way all in one package

Pleats look dope man! Although I advise changing the gloves into costumebase Kylo gloves which look screen accurate for the lowest price

It's a good looking costume... the pleated arms are great.. and the helmet although it looks out of the box is nice.. not at all movie accurate. but it's a nice costume.

@@PuppetNerd Wearing a mascot suit is very bad. Extremely hot. Layers like that is similar. A woman my age that gets hot flashes I must have a cooling system, lol.. Thanks for the videos on puppets. Very useful for the build I am making.. they work great for DIY mascots for cons. Also making my husband his own puppet.. Bringing his fave puppet to life as a birthday / Christmas gift. Drawing back his childhood, I hope. Find me at NY Anime con if you get to hot, I've ice packs! Hehehe

What fabric did you use to make the outermost coat? Also, did you add a liner on the inside of it, or is it just one layer of fabric?

The outer coat was made from an upholstery fabricating Joann’s. I didn’t line that layer but I bound the edges so it wouldn’t fray.
