DIY Lavalier Mic Setup Tips for Filmmakers 

In this video I explain how and why I setup my lavalier mics when recording to camera.
As a solo filmmaker I don't use a boom mic operator, sometimes it's difficult to use a boom mic depending on the location of filming angle. I would hide and conceil a condensor mic (wired) depending on the environment.
Using wireless transmitters and receivers with lavalier mics are perfect for conceilment, especially when filming in close situations or at a distance when capturing a wide, long or zoom shot, where as the boom operator would be in shot.
I hope this DIY setup helps any creative filmmaker needing to improve their audio.
