DIY LUSH LIP SCRUB (Without coconut oil)

My mom bought me the bubblegum lush lip scrub and I ate half of it😂

I substituted the vanilla extract for peppermint in one and lemon in the other and they both turned out fantastic. Don't be afraid to experiment! :)

here’s the recipe :) 4 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp olive oil (stir) 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (stir) 2-4 drops food coloring (stir) done!

Instead of olive oil if you guys want, you can use vitamin E oil. 😁 Edit: Also instead of using food coloring, if you want it to be like the bubblegum lip scrub from lush, you can order bubblegum flavoring and it’s usually pink, so it will dye your lips less.

I just made it, and it works! I substituted vanilla extract for an orange that I squeezed the juice out of and used that instead. Works just aswell and it gives the scrub a nice natural yellow colour! Thank you so much this was so helpful 💛

Instead of food coloring and vanilla extract I just used a bit of strawberry lemonade

Quick tip: If you do not have vanilla extract then try coffee grounds instead. I tried it and it worked just as well!

Here’s the tea sis ☕️ This is a decent lip scrub. It’s not the best, but it doesn’t suck. Good for beginners. Here are the problems: -if you add food coloring, it stains your lips (she explain that it does that though) -after your finished rubbing, it hurts like hell! My lips hurt, although it wasn’t too bad -After a little bit, it’s ridiculously crumbly, making it messy and a welcome mat for ants. Other than those things, I would totally recommend this lip scrub. I really like how diverse it is. You can add whatever you desire, and you can mix and match things too. You can experiment to your hearts content. 9/10 💛

Instead of vanilla extract I actually used clear rose flavoring/scenting and whoa it smelled so good.

I made it today (minus the food colouring) and it worked amazingly! Highly recommend you try it.

I used sugar, olive oil, lemon extract, lemon juice, and red food coloring and it's wonderful.

Adding one drop of green will make a cute green scrub. I didn’t have red or blue, so zip used green and I am very happy with the results.

The lip scrub was SUPER hydrating. Mine didn't clump up as much as yours did and I used it as more of a loose scrub but it still worked great and left my lips exfoliated and tinted the prettiest shade of red. It also smelled DIVINE. Highly reccomend. (Btw lip scrubs only last 1-2 weeks before going bad so you do get quite a few uses in that short time before you would have to throw it away.)

So I tried this a few weeks ago, and..... 1) I had visitors.... they were all ants... 2) my baby sister ate it all.... twice... 3) I forgot about it and.... it dried up and... I have a new rock now.. that’s infested with ants...

ATTENTION ALL PEOPLE WHO CANT GET VANILLA EXTRACT Something more common in stores is "vanilla bean paste" it's a liquid alternative that comes in a squeeze tube like face cream does. It has a little bit of a syrupy texture but mainly liquid. Works just as well, needs the same emount! It even says on the back of the bottle that 1 tsp vanilla extract= 1tsp vanilla bean paste. So it's obviously meant to be an alternative. Just a tip

Ok o I tried this and can I point out how good this tasted?! I Mean, it was AMAZING! It kept my lips moist. Great job
