Yes. There is no difference for the camera as long as you connect the new battery cell to the old GoPro batteries bms circuit. You will lose overheat protection this way because the temp sensor will be far to the battery. It wont be an issue if you watch for your battery temp frequently. Its even better for the cameras life because there will be less heat in the chassis
Hello! On one of your old videos you showed how to install an electric scooter controller. In the comment section I asked an urgent question but maybe you did not see it? Can you please tell me if you plug the wires in the wrong holes and then try to ride the scooter, can it damage the controller? All I ask is to please just a answer with a "yes or no". This seems to be the only reliable way to externally power the GoPro Hero 10. Looks like I need to sacrifice an official battery and that will be sad to do. Oh well!
