DIY Marauder's Map with HIDDEN FOOTPRINTS! Full Size Replica - MUGGLE MAGIC 

I have searched so many different instructions/tutorials/videos of maps only to be disappointed and this is the best tutorial I have seen to date!!! It is the only one worthy of the movie/books. I absolutely want to be entered into your giveaway and that being said... I would love to see Severus Snape in the map, considering he has his own "special message" on the cover:-) Also, maybe Sirius Black's paw prints and/or Filch and his cat???

Love the extra detail. I’d love to see more additions of wizards. Would be easy to do if you printed on sticker paper. Then people could really customize where the characters are.

I'm from Ukraine, so I apologize in advance for my English, but I have to say it! To be honest, I don't know much about the Harry Potter universe, but my girlfriend really likes it. I wanted to make her happy and give her a special gift, because we are in different countries because of the quarantine and we haven't seen each other for a long time. I spent a LOT of time (two weeks? Possibly more) to find Marauder map templates. But all I found were too simple fakes without inserts. I wanted something more special, large-scale and amazing. I accidentally stumbled across your RU-vid channel and I can't tear myself away for several days! Thanks to you and your lessons, I will be able to send a whole thematic package, my girlfriend will be very happy, thank you very much! The only problem is that I can't find the instructions. Did you delete them? I successfully downloaded the templates (thank you again!), but I looked at the comments and all the links to the instructions that were there do not work. I will try to make this map based on your tutorial video, but it's sad that there are no more detailed written instructions :(

YES! Please keep adding new pieces to the map, yours is the best by far, as it is so expandable. With all the home time I'm getting, due to Covid, I'm enjoying all the Harry Potter DIYs that I haven't had time to do. But I had started to run out, until you posted this one. I actually really love this version on the map but unfortunately I can't print the templates. On the other hand, I've been making the map by drawing it. Yes literally DRAWING it. 😂 so it takes time and I never finished it until now and I can't just start over. It takes dedication and patience to do that already. But I intended on drawing footprints on it without them being hidden and all. And also the alternative opening of the map is a good idea so I'll add it. Amazing work. ❤

i think it´s nice that there are people who do something like this. I mean, you´re taking the time to make these things for us maybe for you too but you decided to share it with other people and get them a chanche to make the accurate map even if they aren´t talented in photoshop or sth (just like me) or if they haven´t money to buy one (like me) Thank you so much for this (sorry for my very bad english)

i just made this using your templates! $5 to get it printed and about.. 6 hours to make? worth it! i used the black and white 11x17 template which was a real pain. i ended up mucking it up a bit because the glue flaps aren't clear like they are in the colour version! it would be super helpful if maybe you could change it in the future?? i'd love to make this again and make it a little more perfect!! all in all, i'm so impressed and can't wait to show all my HP nerd friends :D thank you!

This is awesome! Me and my friend are planning on getting an apartment together next year and we want our living room to be harry potter teamed so we're definitively going to be making this map XD I think it could be fun to add some additional flaps with footprints but without names on them so fans could either photoshop or freehand names on them and be part of the univers or add other wizards on there

I just made the deviantart one thats a copy of the original for my girlfriends christmas on A4 paper but now i have found yours i will try to print your A3 version on A4 paper the map wil be smaller then yours but 154 pages is too many to print at work. yours looks easy to make and has soo mutch more details.

First of all, thank you for your ideas, great tutorials and kindness to share your work and expect almost nothing in return :) I have seen some people asking similar question, but it hasn't been answered - I hope you, or someone else who can answer, will see this one. Is it possible to print in on A3 paper format, will it work the same? It's hard to find a place to print 11x17" here, and if I did, it would probably be more expensive than original map.. :( Thanks in advance!

Hi ! Sounds amazing but how can we do if we live in countries with other measuring systems like here in France, we use the metric system and the centimeters for the paper, not inches... Would the A3 format paper (29,7cm by 42 cm) be adequate ? Cause I really want it to be quality so I'll go print it in a professional shop and I'm not sure it would be okay ? hello Danny, are you sure the "full size" folder is all ok? because some of the files seem to be 39 cm in height (good to fit an A3 sheet), but some others are 24 in height, meaning they will only fit an A4.

Ok, So I have the printed pieces, do we glue all of section A together, then Section B,C,D,E,F. Maybe my old 43 year old brain isn't comprehending. I printed on regular 8.5 X 11 paper!!! the Instructables link is dead!! and i've looked on Pateron!!! HELP PLEASE

Thank you for a Great one day project.. I took the 11 x 17 plans and resized them to fit a legal size piece of paper with open office draw with images 13.80 x 8.05 15 back sides and 18 total pages printed so far without the foot prints. So my total height was 13.8 inches tall by 63 wide. i would recommend one image file that shows all the parts laid out and like A1 , i renamed mine 1-4 left side 1-4 right side 1-7 middle, top & bottom of center and fold out center.

I thinks it would be absolutly incredible if the rest of the marauders were on the map, not just peter pettigrew, even though putting James there can be a little difficult, since he's dead. McGonagall can be a pretty cool addition.

This is literally the coolest thing I think I have ever seen. I want it xD I recently had gotten a noble collection marauder's map and really felt like it lacked a lot of the details especially compared to the movies. This is definitely the coolest most detailed map and I am so glad to have found it. You are seriously amazing! and I would LOVE more extras to be added!!!! maybe Sirius and Filch would be cool :D
