I clip the tails off...serger threading is very hard to unravel...even harder to use the seam ripper on it!!

This wrap dress has a lot of detail...you may want to start with an easier tutorial. The video would be hours long if I filmed the entire sewing session. Also, feel free to ask specific questions, I'll be glad to help you!!

Brittany Thomas yes, I made the pattern based on my measurements. You could use a top or a midi dress...just add some room so it's not super fitted.

Yes! That's exactly what I did. Hem both front pieces from 1-5 inch... If you want more coverage you could do less 1-3 inches. Yes, put one of the straps through the whole, wrap it behind and bring the other around and tie. Thanks for watching!

DanceAddictHD it ties like a normal wrap dress. The string goes in the hole and then it wraps around and ties in the front.

Hello... I just made this dress today and I was kind of confused myself until I started sewing it. You have: two ties that you attach on each side of the dress (one shoulder dress part). However on the right side of the dress when you sew the sides together, make sure you leave a one inch opening between 15-16 inches down measuring from the top of the shoulder down. You have to have a longer tie for the right part of the dress, because its going to wrap all around you from the back and then you insert it out of the hole on the right hand side (the one inch opening you left open). Then combine both ties together to tie a bow. Hope this helps. If you have any questions, please let me know. (:

Just be mindful of the start and end points. And make sure your pattern pieces are the same length. That will help you make the same cut on the design. be sure to check before sewing together.
