Hi Cynthia, thanks for the video - this couldn't be easier to do. I'm also wondering if the commenter below, named Jenna, couldn't be ruder. Talk about no class or tact!
What is happening? A black hat was used for this hack. So she cut a black hat, but she poses with a pink hat at the end and in the thumb nail. I did not see her turning this black hat into a pink one. So why not pose with the black hat that the hack was completed with? Did the cutting hack on the black hat NOT work? I am confused. I want PROOF that this hack worked on the black hat.
She didn’t invent this style. Ever since they started selling ponytail hats, people have tried to figure out ways to do it themselves. Just because someone published something first it doesn’t mean people who came after “stole” their idea, or owe them credit. There are VERY few truly original ideas out there anymore and it’s really pathetic to go around like some knight in shining armor when I’m sure Shannon is doing perfectly fine. I personally came across this video because I wanted to try and make a ponytail hat myself and before just pure trial and error, I decided to see if it’s been done. Shannon’s video was one of three that I watched, and while it was the prettiest filmed and I enjoyed her vibe the most, I actually found her tutorial to be the worst. She just cut a tiny slit. I’m thankful there are multiple videos on this topic so I can shop around for techniques before I butcher a hat. And by the way, Shannon got views, likes, and ad revenue from me even though I watched 2 other tutorials, so it’s no skin off her nose that other people shared what they came up with. And lastly, stop being an asshole to creators. I’m sure the youtubers you’re simping wouldn’t appreciate you putting down other people.
