Thank you for this wonderful idea! I have so many letter stickers from around 15 years ago, I knew I would eventually find something to do with them 😊 also I'm not a craft stash hoarder. Really! I'm not!

I love this idea, I have some of that metal tape, which I believe is used to seal the seams in duct work. I'll definitely give this a try. I've also applied the tape to cardstock and used it in embossing folders.

Walmart has thick letters in their crafting section. The tape is used for ventilation piping for your clothes dryer.

Great idea! I also use the metallic paper from coffee. Someone down below said would be great with diecuts....I was going to say the same....picture doing gears and cogs and stuff like that! Love this..So cool!! TYFS!! ❤️🦋💜

Hello Marije, this tape is used in HVAC systems (air condition, heating) what a cool idea you had here. Pretty cool how it came out. You could also use Alchemy wax which would make it look like rusted metals. Might just try this with diecuts since I don’t have those stickers. Bye👋🏻👋🏻

If you have diecut alphabets you can use heavier paper with less layers if you don’t have stickers. This is beautiful!💚🖤💚

@@jennifers8843 the crayons might work better than the stain or ink but the paint becomes waterproof. I would assume you could try craft or acrylic paint and mix to the approximate color.

For any who wonder: That is thermal tape and its used around pipes, duct work, etc. to provide a thermal protection barrier. You can find it at most hardware stores.

Fabulous. There are stickers called thickers that you could try and only use one layer. I’m not sure if they are still available. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
